Name: Ijiwoharu Kodomo
Age: 35
Gender: Female
Rank: The Thirteenth Raikage
Blood Type: B
Chakra Affinity: Wind
Appearance: Neither very short nor very tall at approximately 5'5”, Kodomo has a delicate, lightweight build that has served her well as a Shinobi. With her childlike features and decided lack of a curvaceous figure, she lives up to the meaning of her name - “child” - in more than just appearance (read on for more information). She has jet black hair that falls to a neatly cropped length just above her shoulders, though in the front it is cut at an angle so that the front is longer than the back, and the very front portions of her hair are kept much longer than the rest. She has several black seals on her face, which she can release as a part of her jutsu.
Personality: As written earlier, Kodomo more than lives up to her name – its full meaning being “Obstinate Child” - as far as both looks and temperament go. She finds a childlike amusement in things normal people wouldn't find funny, and isn't afraid to show it. Stubborn and obstinate, she won't budge once she's made a decision – it's either her way or the highway. Don't let that fool you, though. Beneath the childlike qualities of her demeanor lie the mental workings of a manipulative genius – Kodomo knows how to push people's buttons, and will manipulate anyone in a heartbeat if it will achieve her goals. This “mad genius”, when combined with her fiery temper and childlike mannerisms, makes her just as unpredictable as the weather. She has also been known to have a certain fondness for cinnamon.

History: While not much is known about Kodomo's personal life, her beginnings as a Shinobi were fairly average. While she got into trouble for her stubbornness and temper tantrums as an Academy Student, she proved to be more than capable from Genin on, using the very qualities that had gotten her into trouble before to her advantage on missions. Besides developing her Wind-natured jutsu abilities early on, she became an advanced ninjutsu user and was soon developing an affinity to the elements of Water and Lightning as well. Within her first year or two as a Jounin she became known as Hidden Cloud's Lady of Storms, partially because of her powerful weather-manipulating jutsu and partially because of the temper that had only gotten stronger as the years went on. In her early Jounin days she became insturmental in developing relations between Leaf and Sand, and formed a powerful alliance between two shinobi from those villages – Hitomebore Kiyoshi of Sand and Tensei Kaori of Leaf. Besides showing unusual efficiency in completing international missions, these three became almost notorious for smoothing out relations between their three villages.
However, Kodomo soon developed a grudge against her two allies. Coming from a war-torn Cloud, she despised the peace-loving nature of the Leaf and Sand villages. But that was only part of it. She also bore a personal jealousy towards her own teammates – because of her childlike nature, she saw their own abilities as far greater than hers, which in turn led to a lust for power. This jealousy was fueled even more when a certain event caused Kiyoshi to return to his home village: the Tenth Kazekage, who had grown ill in his old age, was retiring – and had appointed Hitomebore Kiyoshi as his successor.
For a short while, Kodomo continued on missions with Tensei Kaori, but without Kiyoshi's mediating presence, their opposing personalities clashed more and more until, fed up, Kaori left the team to focus on aiding Konoha. Hidden Stone, Konoha's old enemy, was behaving strangely, and Kaori was needed on the home front.
Disgusted and enraged by this turn of events, Kodomo also returned home with a different mission – not to protect her village, but to control it. In secret she hired a small team of missing nins to assassinate the current Raikage, preparing to take control once he was dead. However, before she could step up, the country's leaders chose a different man to become the Twelfth. Biding her time, Kodomo served directly underneath him, stopping the violence that theatened to engulf the Village. That wasn't all she did, though. In secret, she was gathering information about the new Raikage and preparing to make her move.
Soon, her time came. In the dead of night, she used her weather ninjutsu to make the village's natural fog even thicker than usual and stormed the Raikage's mansion – literally. Lightning burst from the windows and winds howled through the structure as battle raged between the two. By daybreak the battle was over, and Ijiwoharu Kodomo decalred herself Raikage from the top of the ravaged mansion.
At first she was proclaimed a traitor and under arrest, but she wouldn't let that happen. With a group Cloud Shinobi already under her sway and a loyal gathering of missing nins, she sealed off the village and began the monthlong bloodshed that would come to be known as The Thirteenth's Massacre. With the violence over, her opposition dead or scattered missing-nins, and tempers tamed, however, she was soon hailed as the Hero of Hidden Cloud, and formally instated as the Raikage. She has led Hidden Cloud with an iron fist ever since.
