The movie looks scary. Interesting, as I haven't seen the original... and happily scary. XD

See it! It's not scary at all. It put a smile on my face. And I laughed through most of it. It's very good. Josh will attest to this (or am I supposed to call him "strange"? that's what Kerry calls him, but I don't want to be mean!).
*holds him up a la puppeteering* So how did you like the movie, Josh?
J: It was a very good movie. Everyone should see it. Also, Kiri is nice and pretty and ...
Uhmm....
J: ...and?
And....
J: ...sweeter than pecan pie? God, I have to get out of this state.
<3
Err... yeah. Topic? I'M ON TOPIC. Totally. *sprays Mazzy with hairspray*

It is indeed a fun movie. Even my MOM likes it, and that's saying something, because she's about as closed-minded as they come. (Example: She hates manga, anime, and anything remotely japanese because of Pearl Harbor. she wasn't even ALIVE at the time e.e)

My favourite part:
"Ma I gotta tell ya that without a doubt, I get my best dancing lessons from you-ooo. You're the one who taught me how to twist and shout, because you shout non-stop and you're so twisted too! Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh!"
In dance classes last year we spent a whole term learning a dance to the 'You Can't Stop The Beat' song, to perform at the end of the year. I still remember almost all of the dance steps, and it was so difficult to restrain myself from getting up and dancing in the middle of the movie theatre.

LOL. But that would have been so hardcore! I now demand you go see it again and dance in the aisle and have someone record you.

What about Nagasaki? ...anyway. I'm not anti-American, but I don't hate the Japanese for something the current generation didn't even do. Not to mention it was a pretty genius tactical move on their part (kind of--considering it seems FDR was well aware of it). I'm also not going to say that what we did with dropping the bombs was right... but I don't see what other choices Truman had. Japan wasn't going to surrender, the American people were losing interest in the war, and it was going to cost an astronomical number of lives to invade the islands.
Not justifying it. Just saying, don't blame the american government. It has its flaws, but considering it's run by the American people, well. Who should be blamed?
Also, it's called a war for a reason.
Enough of my history-obsessed rabbit trailing.
I finally caved and DLed a bit of the music. I haven't really listened, though. I feel extremely guilty because I want to actually buy the CD... but I can't find it anywhere! My mother said she saw it at Wal-Mart but it was not there when I looked. ;___;
I hate ordering it online 'cause of shipping. And it was really cheap at Wal-Mart. -____-;;
Anyway. I reckon I should go to bed. Early classes and all.
