actually it is going to be released at the end of this year, for the christmas sales, at least i think that's what's happ'ning.
another reason to wait to get it, regular dvd player, so large games require multiple discs, way to go microsoft

Oh dear...I mean technology is coming far enough now that we don't need multiple discs...really. I mean the PSX had a good reason for the FFs having multiple discs...but I mean...PS2 did away with that...and now they're bringing out Blu-ray which makes the capacity of a disc even higher...then you've got the 360...*cough*

yeah I know! I mean, we have the technology to put so much on one disk and yet they (microsoft) still produce one game on like..five of them.

I mean...why hold back technology. I mean. If they can keep the cost down by having 4 discs, then that might, be a better idea. But I don't think that will happen. Not only that, I think they are restricting themselves in some ways

As I said though. I don't beleive that one blu-ray disc would cost more than 3 or 4 DVD discs, if it does...then I'll consider 360s merits...

I wish we were able to do the same here in NZ, but the people in the game shops are stingey, and as opposed to letting us try the games, all they do is put the game on, and then unplug the controllers....uncool eh...I'm guessing they'll do what they always do even with the 360

Yeah...BoT now. Has anyone heard about the new controllers for the 360? Are they going to be wireless like the PS2...or are they still gonna be wired, the picture on page one seems to indicated the former. And clues peoples?

wow.... so much to talk about just for one system. I dont think xbox has anything really going for them. They have what... 5 or 6 games that people play? And come on Halo is cool and all, but when you play it for freakin 9 hours in a row! I dont even play RPG's that long. (only a few times...^_^') But they do have the ready and avalible xbox online. but hey im a Play Station geek.

Plus PlayStation has history to lean on. (also backwards compatible) I mean that had to be the most genius idea ever.
