Emotion (Oneshot Story)
Im not really a fan of NaruxHina but im so fking sick of everyone who decides it.So this is a Story for them. And im fking never gonna talk about again.Ty
The cherry blossoms were falling, sinking slowly to the earth, carried lightly on the warm breeze. One brushed past her face, leaving a sort of tickling sensation, she began to reach up to brush off the minor annoyance, when her hand stopped quite involuntarily. She was frozen, she couldn't take her eyes off him as he romped down the road, he, as usual, didn't glance at her, but he did slow down a bit, scratch his head, and continue on his way, greeting friends as he went. Her eyes followed him until he turned a corner and stepped out of sight.
Rarely did Hyuuga Hinata wish she had someone to talk to, a group of girlfriends to gossip with or share secrets, and now was one of those times. What could she possibly do about what she felt for him? He barely noticed her, and she had no way of working up the courage to confess to him, and-
She swiped at the cherry blossoms, distracting her from her thoughts, the petals that had just a moment ago seemed beautiful now were making her angry. She began walking away from the encounter, being angry isn't like me...
Her hair flowed down her back, long and beautiful, green tinted sunlight shining on the bluish black surface. The old training ground, thought Hinata as she reached her destination, and filled with emotions; love, hate, anger, pain; she lashed out at the thing nearest to her, an innocent tree. It feels good, the timid girl thought, anger... She felt empowered, and hit the tree again, it toppled from the huge amount of chakra that had been pumped through it.
Hinata jumped into the branches of the surrounding trees, and returned to Konoha. "Oi Hinata!" shouted a voice
She turned, recognized Kiba and Akamaru and stopped. "What's up Kiba? Marking trees again?" She didn't feel the vehemence in her voice
"Eh...never mind Hinata..." replied Kiba, several words hanging on his tongue. "I'll just be going then..."
Hinata felt remorseful for her rude dismissal of Kiba, but she had no time for anyone's foolishness. "Byakugan" The nerves around her eyes stood out, and from her rooftop vantage point she could see almost everything in Konoha.
There he was, sitting at the ramen shop, she could have guessed that without the byakugan.
She reached the restaurant, and watched the back of his head gulp down the ramen, thinking of all the times she had watched him fall asleep from across the village, watching him wake up, eat ramen, and train diligently....The thoughts brought other emotions back into Hinata, and she almost backed away, turned around, left, but she hesitated.
Uzumaki Naruto turned his head, he felt something weird, the same thing he had felt earlier when he was walking through the cherry blossoms. He completed looking over his shoulder, and he noticed her standing there...and met her eyes, he saw, in those empty white eyes, what so many others had failed to see, the beauty. And once he had accomplished this, he saw the fullness of her soul. He saw into the byakugan like the byakugan sees into the outside world. He felt the emotions cascading over him, overtaking him, and then he was back in the warm breezy Spring day, staring into the face of a beautiful girl, new emotions flowing through him, making him feel...happy...happier...bliss.
She held his gaze, and for a full breath he didn't move, and then a change came over his features, and a new depth came into his eyes, and he broke into a huge smile. The anger that had given her the courage to confront him was gone, and she thought for a moment she wouldn't be able to tell him, but a new emotion had taken the place of the anger, a pure and powerful feeling that Hinata could not deny.
"I love you." She said
"I know." He said "I love you too."
She took a step, closed her eyes...
The kiss was great, the best feeling either of them had felt...ever.
They walked away hand in hand, warmth tingling through their bodies, their hands bonded more then just physically, and from that day forward, it was for each other that they most cared. To this day they are together, and in front of their house in Konoha one can often see children playing ninja, one with black hair and one with blonde, nimbly flinging kunai back and forth. Their mother will occasionally pop her head from the door and fuss at them to be careful, and they just smile and stop until she returns inside.
And to think of all that might not have been if the cherry blossoms had not been falling that day, many years ago...
K I finished it I guess, I was on a role last night so it may be a lil lame, but I suppose it finishes the story decently...supa corny though lol...
