^ a neccessary evil these days. I'd rather not get mixed up with them, but I'm apparently going to have to to be able to get a new car like I need. > I think I've set the record for the longest ^ yet in this thread. EDIT: Nope, I was wrong. Go figure. I'm wrong a lot, actually. V what say you?

^ I say credit cards are a good thing, actually. Maybe that's because I live in little New Zealand where in order to import anything decent into the country (PlayStation 3 games, DVDs... the good things in life ) you kinda need a credit card. In fact, a lot of the luxuries I've been able to partake of in the past year - Meteor, Hawaii, and my piano black box of wonder! - are all due to having a credit card. I'd never have been able to book accommodation in any of the places I've visited. And the only time I've been in debt on my credit card is when I got back from Project Meteor... in which I found I owed $8. I don't know if that has anything to do with the amount that I earn, or my "can't afford don't buy" and "save before you spend" nature. I believe that, so long as one can control the power they wield, credit cards aren't a bad thing. One person I know failed to keep his power in check, and his reputation's taking a beating for it - even from me. > Well I had an awful lot to say on credit cards, didn't I? I'd say *I* have set the record for the longest ^ yet. A record I think I had anyway. Oh well, mine now... But I digress. XD V What are you least looking forward to today? Perhaps something you have to do/probably should do... but don't really want to. Anything really...

^ I did see it, yes. In fact, I wrote it. XD I changed it because... I don't recall. I thought it might elicit a weird response, so in order to return the tone of the thread to neutral I changed it to something a little less think.
> But since Sorien's interested... in which case, I'll continue from where I left off. Perhaps with further elaboration...
V In my previous comment (concerning credit cards) I made the claim that, so long as one can control the power they wield, credit cards aren't a bad thing. In fact, I believe that if any sort of 'evil' is kept in check, it doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing. Is there a dark side of you that you fear and suppress? Is there a demon you'd rather keep locked away... a hidden dark thought that you'd rather not discover? Would you ever be willing to face the darkness, or would you rather stay safely within the light?

^ Since I bought back the topic, I'm gonna answer it. And it's not going to be short. I think my darkness, my id, is in fact violence. I'm also sure that a lot of people down inside would find that inner evil as well. I remember as a child, throwing wild rages at my older brother if he hurt me too much, and the strength that rage gave me, so much it would make my brother turn and flee. That darkness has been discovered, but since been repressed by todays society, and some days I wonder whether my tolerance will hold out, whether it's taunting or other things, that little bit of darkness inside seems to talk, willing for action. Some days I wonder what it'd be like to release that demon, and go into a rage and teach whatever person it is that they're doing is wrong. The implications are what stops me. It's interesting, so many anime (and no, this hasn't influenced me in my thinkings at all) rage is the key to inner strength, take Gohan from Dragonball Z for example. That the inner demon is violence. But for now, the light wins against the war, and I brush off anything that causes the darkness to stir, I remain in the light.
> That aside, I'm no psycho XD, I'm sure the statement above has roused some suspicion about that mind you.
V Moving right along...do you play video games, if so, what platform and why?

^ Video games? Seriously? What kind of loser would play something lame like that? Honestly....Okay, immense sarcasm aside, yes. Yes I do. I have several platforms, for the various reasons to own such. I have a Wii, a PS2, a Nintendo DS, and PSP. Eventually I'll get myself a PS3, but not in the near future. I refuse to get an Xbox, despite the tempting few RPGs exclusive to the system, as I have a huge beef with Microsoft dominating the PC world and trying to muscle in on Consoles. It's just...greedy. The Wii I got for several reasons, the foremost among them being Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and the games that will no doubt follow them in the respective series. The PS2 I've had forever...almost..since my original big black broke and I had to replace it with my new, sleek n' sexy silver model. I bought it for the RPGs. PS2/PS had the most and the best. Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Dragoon...it was just..the RPG system to me, lol. DS and PSP were purchased for their various entertaining games, I just recently picked up The World Ends With You, and Crisis Core. Both quite entertaining systems, and I like that the PSP can also play movies and music. > Did I take the lead in ^ posts yet? V Favorite game of all time?

^ Of all time? Probably Skies of Arcadia. First RPG I ever played. Goofy as all get out, but you can't lose with sky pirates.
> I didn't sleep at all last night!
V It took me forever to figure out how to point downward, haha. I feel dumb. You don't think I'm dumb, do you?

^ Chocolate chip muffins are a farce, and I disagree with them entirely, to the point of taking a bite out of their gooey faces. Especially if they're fresh out of the oven. I'd also like to suggest you're dumb. > I bet she doesn't know I was just kidding! Unless she can read my thoughts.... V CAN YOU READ MY MIND, OH NEXT PERSON TO POST?
