I just thought I'd say that New Zealand is cool. And I have a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4.
Which would be possibly one of the only games ever to come out in New Zealand a full day before it comes out in America - and yes, that includes beating all your midnight launches too.
NTSC SUCKAHS.
bahaha.
XD
But I jest... because it frickin' makes up for a lack of Rock Band announcements.
Oh well. EXCITEMENT.

It's possible, perhaps, if you've beaten it already. XD

Nice.
....I beat it. XD Basically the second I got the game, I did nothing but play it until I finished it, as I was afraid of having the game monumentally spoiled for me - one of my pet hates is spoilers.
I'm pleased with the results. I've avoided all the trailers (except the first one that was released however many years ago), never read any of the reviews, didn't take a look at anything REMOTELY related to the game... and furthermore, before playing MGS4, I spent one day playing MGS2: Sons of Liberty, and half a day watching MGS3: Snake Eater (thank the gods for Demo Theater mode!) to run over the story again before setting foot in Snake's final chapter.

Truth. The game is everything the Metal Gear series has aspired to be, since it started 20 years ago. Metal Gear Solid 4 is most definitely a work of art. In fact, I don't think this level of artistic genius has ever appeared on ANY console to date. Kojima's greatest masterpiece, undoubtedly.
Plus it's a great game. XD

I hope not, honestly. Lest it succumb to the same fate as Final Fantasy VII, Shrek and Dragonball Z.
The game is great where it stands. The story CLOSES. And even IF it's one of Konami's strongest and most lucrative IPs... it SHOULD be over and done with. Take for example, Harry Potter. The story's finished, and if Rowling were to try and add more to it, it would just ruin the entire franchise. You can't pry the story back open with a crowbar, otherwise you damage what's inside.
Gosh, wasn't that a stupid move, Square-Enix?
