do you ever wish you could be a superhero and save the world?

Not necessarily save the world, because I think people are too ignorant to be saved at times, but to be able to fly quickly would certainly have its perks (one would be flying to see my girlfriend XD). In reality, there'd need to be a superhero in each and every town in order to avert that much crime. Then what would happen to the police force? How would one save the world from Climate Change? Yeah...I'm morbid XD

Hmmm. I'm not sure, actually.
I too believe that a lot of people are too ignorant to be saved, and probably don't deserve to be.
Also, unless you're an immortal superhero and around to save mankind for all time, there's not going to be a difference for long. You'd disappear into the pages of history, and the future would soon forget... that's what people do.
Not to mention, you'd need to be a near-god to be of any use. Or, as Sorien suggested, have a huge number of superheroes all saving the world.
Me... yes, I do wish I could be a superhero. However, unlike the symbols of justice we associate your typical superhero with... I dunno, I'm not sure whether I'd want to stand out and be recognised for my duty, or whether I'd work behind the scenes and subtly shape the destiny of the world from the shadows. I think if you make yourself known as a superhero, your enemies slowly change and adapt. And as they change... they become harder to beat, stand firmer against you. It's a difficult task to rid the world of evil... harder than just having a single powerful person exist.
And we haven't got to the inevitable clash with my arch-nemesis - Sorien. XD

Personally, I'd love to have the power of teleporting. Especially if harnessed to the point of taking objects or other people with you.
* you could teleport behind someone, wrap your arms around them, and then teleport two kilometres into the air. Let them go and then teleport yourself back onto the ground, leaving them to fall to their doom. How awesome would that be to unleash on a robber? * you could also try teleporting them to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. * constant holidays for me and the missus. Not to mention, I get my week off every month - one of the perks of shift. * thinking about it... you could teleport the above goon into an airlock in a space station. * a secure job as the world's fastest courier service. International items also accepted - especially to places with nice beaches.
I also thought invincibility would be cool, because I think it'd be awesome to have, say, a SWAT team chase you to the top of a building and then throw yourself off to evade them. haha. Mind you, I suppose invincibility comes with its flaws...
