The best person I know to talk to about Manga, is Smeagi. I don't read anything else other than Naruto really, cos I got hooked on the story, and wanted to know what happened next. Smeagi reads quite a bit though. You might want to ask her...I'll point her this way.

hehehehe All of my friends call me an anime and manga freak. Here's why:
Other than Naruto, I read: Bleach Black Cat D.Gray-Man Death Note Vampire Knight Trinity Blood Fullmetal Alchemist
All of them are up to date! I had to get a bigger bookshelf just for all my manga.
Now I would suggest either Fullmetal Alchemist, Black Cat or D.Gray-Man if you want to go along the lines of the shonen style. If you want more of a detective type of story, go with Death Note. If your into vampires, go with Vampire Knight and Trinity Blood. It all depends on what you like!

Ooh, other then Naruto which I, along with almost everyone else on this site, am a BIG fan of I read (and watch)
Black Cat D-Gray Man Bleach Code Geass: Lolouche of the Rebellion Rave Master Ranma 1/2 and other misc. short ones
I have also been recommended- Full Metal Alchemist Psychic Academy D. N. Angel
All of which I hope to get into shortly

You two seem to agree on a lot of manga there. I guess I should start reading up on some of them when I have access to better internet speed XP

Yeah, there are a lot of good ones out there. It really is an elegant art form and one, I'm proud to say, I enjoy very much.
Currently, I'd highly suggest Black Cat. It is an exceedingly good manga about...I'm not sure I want to give it away. xD The anime is also somewhat good (I love the music in it) However, I would definitely read the manga first because the anime and manga are really different and tell, almost, different stories.
Rave Master and Ranma 1/2 are just silly ones that'll help you laugh and in the words of Guy Sensei "enjoy your youth."
Code Geass, on the other hand, is a much more intellectual thriller about a rebellion against an opressive government...with mechs! (I'm actually not a huge mech fan)
Bleach is pretty popular in its own right and you don't need to hear much about it from me, and I've only recently got into D-gray man and it's....wierd. xD, although it is really interesting and quite good.
Hope that helped!

Yeah. I've watched an awful lot of Ranma (Which is really Anime...not manga (In my case)) It's so silly...but like...enjoyably silly.

I follow the domestic releases of Fruits Basket, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and xxxHOLiC (I actually prefer the professional versions of those, unlike some manga *cough*Naruto), while I keep up-to-date with the scanlated releases of One Piece and Fairy Tail online. I used to follow Bleach, but I've fallen behind and haven't really had the desire to catch up.
