"Riiiiiiiight," an unusually wide-eyed Hoshiko said, watching a person who appeared to be a Hyuuga stride off with the boy Nada-san had named Kiyoshi-kun quite literally in tow. "That was, uhm, interesting. Iiiiiiiii think I'll be heading off to work now...." "Yes, that's a good idea," Akina murmured, also appearing to be in a state of shock from whatever on earth had just happened. "Well!" Hoshiko announced, immediately snapping back to her usual self. "Time's a wastin'! Shall we, Nada-san?" Without another word, she was off. Behind her, she could tell that Akina-san had also regained her senses and was going about her business of restoring order to the caravan.

It was a feeling he hadn't felt for a while. Mazrakiel, alongside his comrades, had just come into view of a sight he had nearly forgotten -- at the end of the forest path lay the great gates of Hidden Leaf. There was an aura of anticipation as the caravan rolled along the path back to Konoha, and the moment he laid his eyes upon the familiar gates that guarded the village, a warm feeling rose over him again.
The feeling of being home.
-----
As the convoy rolled into the village a large crowd had, inevitably, turned out; the families and friends of those who'd left the village were waiting to welcome their loved ones home. Maz looked on, tired from the journey, as his travelling counterparts reunited with their families. Some were more than eager to get back to their homes; several of the travellers had crowded around the caravans looking to get their bags quickly -- which caused more harm than good, and only slowed things down. Nevertheless, the mass of people around the caravan got bigger and bigger...
Maz sighed. The only way to get his bags would be to join the growing mob and wait for his turn. As he spotted one family cutting back out through the throng, Mazrakiel closed in on the gap they left -- a wound which healed as quickly as it had opened, filled with other people just as irritated as him.
This was going to be a while.

Nadameru was off only a second after Hoshiko, falling in step next to the other kunoichi. Inwardly, Nada couldn't help feeling a bit unnerved by the number of people milling around them. Large crowds always seemed to throw her off. Nevertheless, she knew she had been given a job; she had offered to help Akina-sempai, and that was just what she intended to do. As she and her companion headed toward where everything was being unloaded, the jounin tried to keep an eye out for anyone who looked like they needed something to do. So far, though, the search was not shaping up to be too promising.
