((This thread is open to anyone who wishes to participate, as long as their character is currently in Konoha. Enjoy!))
Though the day of the return of the Hokage's traveling entourage to Konoha had passed with much excitement and no small amount of barely-organized chaos, by the time evening draped its cool embrace over Hidden Leaf Village, the pandemonium had died down - for the most part, at least. People still came and went, tending to the last bit of business they could squeeze into the day. Even that was beginning to die down, too, as the Hokage had expressed a "strong recommendation" that everyone in the village get a proper amount of rest that night, as there was much to be done in the coming days. And when the Hokage strongly recommended something, people listened.
Except, that is, the young people. As the case usually is, the youngsters of Konoha were only just beginning to have their fun. And one particularly energetic group, the rock band known as Crimson Phase, was preparing to put on a "Welcome Home" concert for those who had just returned from the Hidden Sand Village.
The siblings had been busy all week. Besides practicing whenever they could, many of them had been plastering the Village with posters advertising the event. With an opening act by their Cousins, the Triplets, and free admission for anyone in Konoha who could fit inside, it was sure to be a great night - at least as far as the band was concerned. For no matter who showed up - or didn't show up, for that matter - they were going to have fun.
The concert, as most Crimson Phase performances usually did, would take place at the Kaomoji Cafe - the Tensei Clan's very own performance venue, owned and operated by the family right there on the Tensei Clan Grounds. As usual, there would be no drinking allowed, as there would most likely be youngster's present, and the Tensei were particularly disgusted by public inebriation anyways. Besides - the coffee, tea, and sugary beverages and snacks served by the Kaomoji Cafe would keep the crowd awake and energetic for the entire concert, which meant more fun for everyone involved.
Any visitor wishing to attend the concert would simply enter the Tensei Clan grounds by the main gate, tell the gatekeepers there that they were there for the concert, and walk straight down the main avenue. From there they would walk past workshops, residential streets, and even a few small shops until coming upon the Kaomoji Cafe on the left. Indeed, a small crowd had already begun to gather outside the entrance, which remained locked while the performers completed their sound check. It was almost six o'clock, though, meaning that the doors would open soon....

Kuro headed home, laden with packages. She had just finished a shopping trip at the market. Kaji needed food, and he let Kuro know by scratching up one of the table legs. He was now locked in the bathroom until further notice.
She turned a corner, and noticed a group of people gathered outside the gates of the Tensei Clan. A poster lay in her path. Shifting her packages, she picked up the paper and glanced at it. Of course, the Crimson Phase was going to perform, again. She dropped the paper and continued on her way, passing the group of people.
Twilight was on it's way, and Kuro wanted to get home before dark. She passed many people, young and... not so young, all taking excitedly about the concert.
She decided to go. Why not? She had nothing better to do than to entertain her moody cat anyway. She dropped off the food, changed into just a plain, black, long-sleeved T-shirt, and headed back out the door toward the gates of the Tensei Clan grounds. It was almost six o'clock.

A concert! A Welcome Home concert, at that! Kameko had spend her first day back in Konoha with her family, getting caught up on what had happened while she had been gone. Some of the news had been sad, and some had been happy - her Sensei, the Hokage! Who would have thought it? - and most of it was altogether too much to handle on her first day. So she had followed the advice of one of many posters she'd seen around the Village and headed out to the Kaomoji Cafe. There were already people gathered outside, but then, it was almost time for the doors open. A huge grin on her face, Kameko stepped up to take her place in the milling crowd, flashing a smile and a wave at anyone who happened to look her way.

A concert welcoming everyone home from the sand: Nadameru thought it was an excellent idea, though she wasn't sure how she was going to be able to stay awake. The kunoichi was completely worn out from the trip, but she just couldn't miss out on this concert. It was the perfect opportunity for her to finally attend a live Crimson Phase performance, something she had been meaning to do for a while. Seeing the number of people already gathering outside, Nada winced. The thought of being packed in the café with such a crowd was less than appealing, but she wasn't going to give up that easily. Even if she got squished between two big, sweaty, smelly shinobi, she was going to see the show. But she really hoped that wouldn't happen. Spotting a familiar face in the crowd, Nada smiled. That would make things much more fun. "Kameko-chan! Hey!" she called out, trying to squeeze her way through the tightly-packed throng to reach her friend. Taro entered the Tensei clan grounds alone, wondering if Nada would be attending. She had been so busy all through the day just trying to get everything done, he'd hardly had a chance to see her, much less talk to her. Normally such crowded and chaotic events were not his daughter's cup of tea, but he knew how she loved this style of music. Perhaps she would brave the adverse conditions to enjoy the band. He himself was only mildly interested in the music style. Taro was attending for a completely different reason. After spotting just who would be opening for Crimson Phase on the posters, there was no way he could just stay home. A grin crossed his face as he found a spot in the ever-growing crowd. He always did enjoy seeing his former team perform. Hotaka grinned as he stood outside the Kaomoji Café, amazed by just how many people had poured into the Tensei clan grounds to attend the concert. With such a large crowd, it was guaranteed to be an exciting show. The ANBU could hardly wait. Tapping his foot to a rhythm it seemed only he could feel, he looked around. As it was, he didn't see anyone he knew just yet. Shrugging slightly to himself, he settled in to wait for the doors to open.

"Nada-chan!" Kameko squealed, waving her friend over. "I'm so glad you decided to come too! This should be great, huh? I remember Yoshito and Isamu from our class in the Academy. It's hard to believe their band's so successful now! I didn't even recognize them on the poster until someone told me who they were." It was with great excitement that Shinako strolled down the streets of the Tensei Clan grounds, taking in the familiar sights of home on her way to see her cousins perform. She had dressed in appropriate shades of red and black for the concert, and even donned a fishnet shirt under her red tank top. It was somewhat of an unusual look for her, but when going to a rock concert, such things were okay. The trip to the Sand Village had been great, but Shinako was glad to be home. And to go to a Crimson Phase concert on the very day of their arrival? That was the icing on the cake. Hopefully Aunt Kaori wouldn't be too mad when she found out people had been partying at the Kaomoji Cafe after being ordered to rest up. At last she reached the increasingly popular venue, admiring the large crowd already gathered outside. If there were this many people here already, things were sure to be awesome tonight! She grinned even broader when she spotted someone she knew, someone she hadn't seen in awhile. "Taka-niisan*!" she called out, running up to her cousin. "How's it going?" *Taka-niisan: Tensei Clan members have a particular way of addressing their relatives. Aunt and Uncle are used for elders who are a generation apart from the speaker, while Big Brother and Big Sister are used for those who are closer in age. Hotaka would fit into this category from Shinako's point of view, hence the "niisan" title. Alternately, suffixes such as -chan and -kun are commonly used for relatives younger than the speaker.

...just my luck...What're you talking about, this is freakin' awesome!! Please behave...I don't want to cause a scene.....This is traumatizing enough as is...Utsuro STILL wasn't sure what exactly had happened to bring about this turn of events. One moment he had been admiring a concert poster, the next he had been swept up by a surge of squealing fans, and had somehow wound up in the Tensei Clan Grounds. Regardless, he was there now, and with no viable opening for escape, it looked like he would be attending the show. Wishing there weren't so many people present, he slunk and appologised his way to a vacant corner, hoping not to draw any attention as per usual.

"Whaaaaaaat?!?" Hoshiko shrieked in surprise, reading the poster that had been posted near the entrance to the Yanagawa Clan grounds. Crimson Phase, performing a Welcome Home concert? There was no way she was gonna miss this! But with so many mountains of luggage in her arms and on her back, there was also no way she'd make it home in time to get ready. She looked one way, and then the other... ...And a devilish grin appeared on the Chuunin's face. She focused her chakra, took a deep breath, and declared, to no one in particular, " Denkousekka no Jutsu*!" And with a bright flash, she was gone. Another flash, and Hoshiko was inside her room - but she wasn't alone. For there were her little brother, Hiroki, and his friends - in the middle of a mess that was decidedly bigger than it had been when she left. All three of them looked as though they'd seen their doom. In a way, Hoshiko thought savagely, they had. "Hirokiiii!" she shrieked at her little brother, who had evidently been getting into her things while she was gone. " What are you doing in my room?!?" "N-n-n-n-nnnee-s-s-san!" Hiroki stammered, his silvery violet eyes going wide with shock. "W-w-welcome home! W-w-w-we were j-j-just---""Invading my privacy?" Hoshiko demanded, her Doutai beginning to spark. "Going through my things? How many times have I told you to stay out of my room?" "And how many times have Mom and Dad told you not to use Denkousekka no Jutsu to come and go?" Hiroki fired back, finally regaining his confidence. The typical "Devious Little Brother" grin slid onto his face as he continued. "You're gonna get it!"" You're the only one who'll be doing any 'getting' - thrown out, that is!" Hoshiko declared, grabbing her brother's collar in one hand and marching him to the door. "If you two know what's good for you," she told his friends, who had been watching the exchange in perfect silence, "you'll follow." "Nee-san!" Hiroki whined. "You're choking me!" This, of course, was a huge exaggeration - shout and argue though they may, Hoshiko and Hiroki were very close, and would never truly hurt one another. And though Hiroki knew this, it was just how things were done around here. "I am not," Hoshiko shot back, knowing full well she wasn't hurting her brother in the least. "Now get out get out get OUT!" she shouted, yanking open the door and depositing an indignant Hiroki in the hallway. His friends were hot on his heels, tripping over each other in their haste to escape Hoshiko's wrath. "And stay out!" she finished. "I'm telling Mom and Dad!" Hiroki threatened. "C'mon, guys!""Oh yeah," Hoshiko murmured as the three kids made their escape as quietly as a herd of elephants. "I should probably tell them I'm here. Hi, Mom! Hi, Dad!" she called out the open door. "I'm home!" "Hoshiko, how many times have I told you to come through the door?" a female voice answered from the other room. "Sorry, Mom!" Hoshiko replied, "but there's a Welcome Home concert tonight and I had to get home in time to get ready! I'll talk to you in a bit; I've gotta start or I'll be late!" At that she closed the door and began to sort through the mess until something caught her eye. "Heeeeeey!" she cheered, lifting the prized object out of its place in the catastrophe that was her room. "They found my favorite corset! I'll have to thank them for that, later." The newly found corset was black, with a low back that would expose the Doutai on her shoulder blades - and accompanying lightning bolt tattoo - when worn. Gold lightning bolts streaked across four metallic purple panels on the front of the garment, while purple ribbons laced up both the front and back through metal rings. Hoshiko tossed it onto her bed and kept digging until she found her black pants - faux leather with evenly spaced belts circling the legs all the way down - and her simplest pair of black, platform, high-heeled boots. Setting those aside next to the corset, she dashed out to get washed up. Not long afterwards, after one of the quickest showers she'd ever taken and the best rushed-job blowdrying her hair had ever had, Hoshiko dashed back into her room, tripped several times over everything on the floor, and finally made it to the bed. She threw on her concert outfit at lightning speed and dashed over to the dresser to begin the real fun of getting ready. Makeup was first. Black eyeliner went on nice and thick before being smudged to blend in with gratuitous metallic purple eyeshadow, resulting in a smoky kind of effect. Black mascara, more purple glitter, and deep metallic lipsick; and she was ready for the accessories. A simple black headband was good enough for her hair - worn differently than her usual flipped style - while a black, studded choker sporting a large, golden lightning bolt pendant went around her neck. Fishnet armbands were next, extending up to her elbows, with a multitude of silver, gold, black, and purple bracelets, bangles, and rings over those. After loading up her usual plethora of ear piercings with various adornments - stars, lightning bolts, studs, and hoops - she was finally ready. "Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!" she shouted, literally running through the house in her desire to get outside. She sprinted down the stairs, making no less noise than her brother and his friends had done, dashed through the foyer, and slammed the front door shut behind her a little more strongly than she'd meant to. And now that she was outside.... "Denkousekka no Jutsu!" she shouted, disappearing with a flash. She reappeared outside the Tensei Clan grounds - she knew for a fact she'd get in trouble for flashing in directly to the venue; she'd tried that once and gotten thrown out for her trouble - waved to the guards as she explained the purpose of her visit, and didn't slow down until she was halfway to the Kaomoji Cafe. "Phew, I made it!" she sighed happily, settling into a sort of easygoing swagger as she approached the milling crowd. *Denkousekka no Jutsu - Lightning Speed no Jutsu. Finally making her way over to Kameko, Nada grinned. "I know!" she agreed. "I can't wait to finally see them perform. I've been meaning to for a while, and it seems like I could never find the time." Standing on her tiptoes to try to see over the heads of the people around them, she sighed impatiently. She was about to comment aloud, wondering just when they were finally going to open the doors, when she spotted another familiar face in the crowd. Grinning, she lifted her arm and waved to Hoshiko-chan. Hotaka blinked as he heard his name, looking up just in time to see one of his cousins running over to him. A broad grin spread across his face. "Shinako-chan!" he greeted. "Long time, no see!" "Here for some fun?" he asked with a twinkle in his eyes.

"You bet I am!" Shinako said in reply to Taka-niisan's question. "The mission in the Sand Village was great, but there's nothing like a concert done Tensei-style. I didn't even realized how much I missed this place 'til we got back!" Hoshiko grinned widely when she spotted a familiar face waving to her - her roommate from the Sand Mission, Nadameru! "Nadameru-chan!" she squealed, dashing over. "You like Crimson Phase, too?" she asked excitedly.

Nada grinned. "I sure do," she replied. "It's pretty cool that they're having a welcoming concert just for us!" "Well," Hotaka responded to his cousin, "I'm sure Konoha missed you too. As they say, there's no place like home, right?" He did his best to keep the mischievous grin off of his face, but it was more persistant than he. "And besides, Shinako-chan, just admit it... you missed me the most!"

A concert for the returnees, what a novel idea! Normally Ryuurei was not one of this particular variety of music, but considering his relation with a certain Tensei, such exceptions could be made. Besides, personal preference aside, Crimson Phase was very good at what they did, and never failed to put on an enjoyable show. Life had been far too dull recently anways. A little excitement was just what he needed. Of course, from prior experience, one could not wear formal kimono...however comfortable one was in them...to such an event. A change in attire would be required. Shifting through the articles of his closet, Ryuurei pondered. A few moments later, choices had been made, laid out on a chair. A brisk shower and quick change later, he was out the door. A loose shirt of fine white silk, unbuttoned halfway down to expose flawless skin and a sculpted chest to the night air...and any adoring fans(not that he cared about that). Perfectly tailored black trousers and simple, yet well-made sandals completed the ensemble. While by no means an extraordinary outfit, combined with his own natural charisma and debonaire good looks, it was a knee-weakening look. Shouldering a satchel containing his sketchbook and a few other supplies, he made his way to the Tensei Clan grounds. After all, one never can tell when inspiration will strike. Alighting from rooftop to rooftop with ease, giving a moment's pause to observe the early tinted hues of the soon-setting sun. "...it's been done." Arriving at his destination, he gave the guards a passing wave and a quick word, navigating his way to the Kaomoji Cafe where the show was to be held. Leisurely walking down the street, he smiled upon viewing the crowd that had beat him there. A gentle breeze teasing somehow-perfectly-stray ebony locks of his long, lustrous hair, Ryuurei's sharp blue eyes scanned across the assembled, wondering who amongst them he knew.

Kuro timidly entered the Tensei clan grounds and wandered for a bit, waiting for six. She wanted to be the last there, so as not to draw attention to herself. She hated being noticed. She toyed with her necklace as she passed different shops and people.
Several people she recognized rushed past her, talking excitedly. She ignored them. Nobody ever payed attention to her anyway.

"Of course I did, Taka-niisan," Shinaki said with a giggle, rolling her eyes as she leaned in to give her cousin a hug. "It sure is!" Hoshiko replied, grinning widely. "Akihiko-kun was in my class at the Academy, you know. He's such a sweetie, even now, that it still seems really funny for him to be in a rock band. If it weren't for the resemblance, you'd never guess that he's actually one of the siblings!" "Isn't this the best, Izumi-chan?" Tokoharu Tatsuya asked excitedly, bouncing along the streets of Konoha alongside his teammate. Izumi couldn't help but wonder how he wasn't tripping over his own pants - which, although not too terribly baggy, were rather long. "It's pretty exciting," Izumi agreed in her usual calm, collected manner as she adjusted her armwarmers - black fingerless gloves that laced up her arms with black ribbon. "I haven't been to one of these concerts in some time." "C'mon, Izumi-chan!" Tatsuya pleaded teasintly, nudging Izumi in the side with an elbow. "Don't you ever show any excitement?"Izumi just stared at him with her flat, shockingly pink gaze. "Eh, you're right," Tatsuya sighed. "I should know better than to ask that by now. Say, Izumi-chan?""Yes?" she asked. "Your pants... ahh... how do you keep them like that?"Izumi blinked, confused, and looked down at her pants. They were black, with openings up the outside of the legs that laced up with black ribbons akin to those on her armwarmers. "Practically everything I own laces up, Tatsuya, and you're asking me this now?" she asked him with a raised eyebrow. "Well..." Tatsuya paused, thinking this over. Apparently he couldn't think of a response, so he changed the subject instead. "You're wearing a lot of black today, aren't you, Izumi-chan? Even your shirt..."Izumi sighed. Sick of playing to Tatsuya's tendencies to become a fashion critic, she decided to change the subject again. "Tatsuya, look!" she exclaimed, pointing in some random direction. "It's Shinako-chan!" "Where?!?" Tatsuya asked excitedly, falling for her ruse and turning to look every which way - and promptly ran head-on to a telephone pole for his trouble. "Owww...." the red-haired Chuunin moaned, rubbing his head as he staggered back from his "assailant". "Izumi-chan, you did that on purpose!""Of course I did," Izumi told him, taking him by the arm and leading him down the street. "You should pay more attention. We're not even at the Tensei Clan Grounds yet; of course Shinako wouldn't be out here. You're a Chuunin, aren't you?" "Well, yeah, but....""Just remember to never criticize a woman's fashion," Izumi told him matter-of-factly. "Not all women are as gentle to you as I was." "But Shinako-chan asks my opinion on stuff like that," Tatsuya insisted. "Shinako is Shinako, and I'm me," Izumi sighed. "She's different." "How?""If you can't figure it out on your own," Izumi sighed, rolling her eyes, "then I'm certainly not going to tell you." "Izumi-chan," Tatsuya pleaded, "Tell me! Izumi-chaaaan!"And on and on they went, all the way to the Tensei Clan Grounds.

Hotaka chuckled, hugging Shinako back. After pulling away, the ANBU looked around curiously, one foot tapping in time to the conversations going on around him. "I wonder when this thing's gonna get started," he thought aloud. The man couldn't help raising any eyebrow when he spotted another familiar face; this one, however, he had not expected to find in such a place. "Oi!" he shouted, waving his arm in a wide arc over his head. "RYUUREI! Oi!" When his former teammate didn't respond, he frowned, pondering. Getting an idea, he cupped both his hands over his mouth and hollered, " OI! BISHOUNEN~!*" Taka couldn't help wondering if Ryuurei would really answer to that. * Bishounen: lit. beautiful boy. In this case, I meant it as Taka mockingly calling Ryuu "pretty boy," and I wasn't sure how else to translate it. If it's wrong and you know a better way, please correct me....

"OI! BISHOUNEN~!" Well, THAT was a word he hadn't heard thrown around in awhile...at least, not outside of none-too-softly 'whispered' conversations by passing throngs of girls. This voice, however, was masculine, musical, and all too familiar. Turning towards the source of the sound, Ryuurei grinned. "Taka! How's my favorite ballerina?" Smiling at the sight of his old comrade, he made his way through the crowd and slung an arm around him.
