Satoshi stared up at the thousands of twinkling lights, and the bright full moon in the gorgeous night sky. He lay on his back with his hands behind his head, and his knees bent in common fashion.
It was a beautiful night. That's why he'd chosen to come out, and lay in the grassy spot on top of a cliff near the village. He'd found it several years back, and used to come up here, sometimes with his sister sometimes with his....dad.
That was all in the past now though. He enjoyed a pleasant visit up to his little spot, even if he was by himself... That is until he heard padded footsteps coming up behind him.

Arisu made her way up to the spot where Satoshi would take her every now and then. It was the perfect night for stargazing. Smiling, she spotted her brother laying down. Sitting down beside him, she poked him.
"Yo, having fun?" she asked.

Satoshi cocked his head back and looked up at his sister.
"Yes indeed. It WAS quite peaceful" He said, obviously not really minding that she was there but giving her a hard time anyways.
"So, what're you up to up here?" He said turning his head back to the stars.

Lying tucked in bed, Sorien lay awake. The moon beamed in through the curtains illuminating his entire room with a ghostly shade of white. A gentle breeze breathed upon the curtains bringing with it the tell-tale smell of Konoha's surrounding forest. With every breath inhaled, he became more lively.
His instincts got the better of him so he climbed to his feet, changed into some light clothing and left the house. Another gentle breeze filled his lungs with many varying smells; the smell of the dirt beneath his feet, spices from the surrounding food vendors. A stillness hung upon Konoha, that which only the night could bring.
Sorien could see further than his normal vision on this night, and his sense of hearing was also very keen. It was almost as if Sorien was absorbing the energy of Konohagakure himself, to make himself more lively. Finding himself walking fast, his pace set to a jog. There was nowhere he intended to go, no set path, just the night and himself.
Leaving Konoha, he entered the forest, which had beckoned him from his bed. Deep earthen and mossy smells emanated from every crevice and crack. Finding himself heading uphill, he pushed harder, his breath hardly increasing from a regular rhythm.
Reaching a level in the incline, Sorien stopped to scale a tree. He found himself looking over a ghostly version of his home village, as painted by the moon. Looking to his left, he saw that the hill had still a little increase to go. Figuring that a higher point would mean a better view, Sorien clambered back down the tree and restarted his ascent.
Sorien stopped dead still. "o, da-da da?" Voices filled the otherwise quiet night. "E indeed. Muh WAS quite murmur". As he progressed the voices drew sharper. "So, what're you up to up here?".
Sorien was within earshot himself. Without wanting to frighten whoever it may have been, he spoke clearly and without hiding anything about himself. "Yes indeed, what ARE you up to out here?"

Satoshi had detected a presence approaching he and his sister while having their short conversation, however he had not deemed them a threat, and so when he heard the voice he wasn't surprised.
"Well, it seems everyone could ask everyone that question tonight. To be completely honest I was just enjoying a peaceful night under the magnificent stars and any who would like to join are more then welcome." He said in a cheerful voice.

Sorien received his reply and stepped out into the open.
Briefly taking in the view (which was better than he had anticipated), he looked up for the first time since entering the forest. The canopy had opened quite widely in the part, and the moonlight bathed the grassy surroundings, making each blade appear as a frosty shard of ice.
Realising his pause was causing a large silence, he extended his hand toward the young man who'd spoken to him. "Sorien, Genin from Konoha" he uttered, and nodded his head lightly.

Satoshi watched the red haired young man step into the clearing, and smiled as he saw him admire the surroundings. It was a special spot, the stars practically gleamed off of ones eyes. Then the young man extended his hand and nodded his head lightly- "Sorien, Genin from Konoha"
Satoshi replied bobbing his head, shaking Sorien's hand, and closing his eyes in a welcoming blink- "Satoshi, a jounin from our virtuous village." Then he turned to his sister...
