Taro watched Kagemaru make his move, then move the caravans one space according to the rules. There was now a rook--or, caravan, rather--standing in the way of his attack. Well, no big deal there. He needed to get rid of that thing anyway.
Moving his bishop, he attacked the caravan. Now all he could do was wait and see what kind of pieces he had unleashed. Hopefully it wouldn't be anything too powerful.
Hopefully.

Unexpected.
Taro moved his piece to attack the caravan. This was just the break Kagemaru was hoping for; with the piece destroyed, two more powerful pieces had been unleashed onto the board -- a King and a Queen, onto D7 and F7 respectively. Now Kagemaru was in a position of more power.
Kagemaru moved his Queen to attack the black Rook on H7.
