Yaku had blinked with surprise at the sudden scent that had come about, noticing it even before he had felt this new girl tugging at his hem. Just as Yaku did, Hiromi turned her head to stare down at the girl, and for a moment, although Hiromi was usually much more friendly with other humans than her human best friend, the two shared what seemed to be identical looks of confusion as they stared at her. The little pup was, as usual, the quicker of the two to snap back into the moment and she gave a short woof as a sign for Yaku to come to his senses. He blinked, glancing at Hiromi for a second at her command before looking back at the newcomer, "Uh, yes?" he answered, suddenly wondering if he'd gone and done some other stupid bit that would cause him to stand out as much as usual, "Do I not look ok?" he asked curiously, and Hiromi gave a happy yip to Itome, almost looking as though she were smiling, her curly tail giving a small wag.
OOC: No problem Pague! Yaku hasn't had a chance to talk with anyone yet <3

It wasn't long after running into Yasu-san that the three companions met another familiar face. There was Itome-san, talking to a Leaf shinobi - who had a dog on his head, of all things! Did many Konoha shinobi have dogs on their heads, she wondered, or was it a clan trait? Or did this ninja just like having a dog on his head? Arisa could see that Aiko was struggling to decide between interest and distaste at seeing a Konoha shinobi, and Yoko was spellbound by the unusual sight. By some unspoken consent, the three stopped close by to watch. Biidoro Sayuri, finally relieved from her post, strolled casually through the streets of Hidden Sand clad in a pale blue yukata decorated with a white lily print. One hand adjusted her light yellow obi - the thing never did want to fit properly right away - and the other clutched a simple paper fan. With a smile on her face, she looked around to find someone to talk to.

Stepping out into the crisp night air, Soriens enthusiasm increased, although the festival had not yet officially begun, the air was buzzing with activity. The mood was not sombred by the lack of light. In fact, the anticipation of the bright colours, soon to be illuminated, kept most people anxious.
He wandered around for a while quietly, yet not bothered by being alone. His thoughts trailed on to Mazrakiel. "I wonder where that lads got to. Haven't even seen him since the arrival" he thought to himself. He made a slight mental note, that after the commencement of the festival, he'd locate some of his Konoha friends.

OOC: Sorry! Totally forgot to check the thread *stupid*
BIC: Itome was glad the man was okay, though she had just made herself look like an idiot.
"Ah-I'm very sorry! I thought you had hurt yourself b-but I must have been mistaken." She said quietly, moving to the side to allow him to walk past.
"y-Your dog is cute!" She added as an afterthought. "I havn't s-seen you before, are you one of the Konoha visitors?"

Yaku was growing more and more aware the of clustering of unfamiliar scents that were no longer mingling in the crowd, as rather they remained in one place and by a small wuff from Hiromi in his ear, it was confirmed that they were being watched. Instantly the young Inuzuka's body tensed fron instinct, whether he meant to or not wasn't entirely up to him.
As Itome moved to let him slide past her, Yaku's feet almost seemed to move in step with her, as though his nerves matched with her flusteredness and he was not one to stay still. He nodded at her question, "Yes, I am." he answered before pausing, his eyes flicking up, and he looked contemplative. Usually Yaku was quite wary of others, especially of strangers and preferred to be alone. However, as Hiromi's tail continued to wag, he sensed the pup had a good vibe from the girl and he told himself to relax.
"This is Hiromi, my ninja dog. Would you like to pet her?" he asked as he his hands reached out to take the furry black bundle.

Bouncing across the rooftops, Yasu was quickly becoming VERY frustrated, and slightly panicked. It was almost time for her performance, and she still hadn't found EITHER -Kage! Things were rapidly looking more and more hopeless. Pausing atop a high roof, she looked about, trying to spot any wide berths around any small groups, signifying someone of importance. ((OoC: *gets the defibrilator and helps her revive it*))

"That's fine with me," Nada replied, smiling. She was really looking forward to finding out what there was to see and do. Even though she had been to the Homura Fire Festival every year since she was a baby, she hadn't been to many otherwise. She was curious to see what it would be like. OoC: Sorry it took me so long~.

With each passing second Yaku was growing more and more agitated. He had never been one for small talk, and the only thing that was help sooth his irritated nerves was the steady thumping of Hiromi's heart he could feel against his fingers by the way he held her. 'I knew this wasn't a good idea.'
"Sorry, I have to go now." he lied before quickly slipping past the girl.
