"Sorien, this is Iro." . Mazz spoke up, breaking the arkward silence. "Ahh IRO! Mazz said you were somewhat tall, but to him tall is well...taller than him...but to me...never mind" Sorien realised he was minceing words.
"Good to meet you" He decided on. He stuck out his hand, not too sure if Iros blind eyes could pick out the movement. Realising that with a moving caravan, they could not stop for too long, Sorien moved a little quicker in order to get back into rhthym with Mazz

Maz introduced Iro to the fellow he was talking to, "Iro, this is my friend, Sorien. Him and I go back to when we first graduated as Genin, don't we?"
Sorien began to speak, "Ahh IRO! Mazz said you were somewhat tall, but to him tall is well...taller than him...but to me...never mind" He seemed to be fumbling for a way to describe Iro's height... he was used to this sort of thing. Finally, Sorien just decided to go with, "Good to meet you". As Sorien reached out his hand, Iro did the same.
"Nice to meet you Sorien." Iro soon realized that the caravan was already underway, and not wishing to be separated from his enitre team for the begining of the trip, he hurried to catch up with Maz.
"Hey Maz, would you mind if I walked with you guys for a bit, since you don't know where Nada-sensei, or Kohana are?"

"Uh, yeah sure. Say, how 'bout we find ourselves a caravan eh?"
Maz, Iro and Sorien walked around together, looking for a relatively empty wagon to board. After scanning the convoy for a few seconds, Maz spotted one towards the front which looked vacant. "That one," he pointed. The three quickly made their way through the crowd over to it and proceeded to climb aboard. Iro was first, who was followed by Sorien, and finally Maz.
As Maz entered the wagon, the conversation that was inside died down -- it wasn't as vacant as he had hoped. There were three Genin sitting at the back, out of sight, and they looked awfully familiar...
"Well well, look who it is.... Sorry, this caravan is full." Maz's face heated. It was the three rowdy Genin from before. Dammit... why did this lot have to be in here? "I'll bet it is," Maz remarked, before sitting down on the opposite side of the carriage next to Iro and Sorien. "Hey, nah, we're expecting someone, so you'll have to get out." "Oh.... okay." Yeah. Right. He could tell they were lying straight off. "Nah nah, get out, you're not wanted here." "Oh, that's a pity. I hope your forehead doesn't hurt too much." The boy clenched his teeth. "It didn't even... shut up." "I hope you turned your book into Tokoharu-san, by the way. I would hate to see what happens to you if they find it." "That little skank wouldn't do anything... she's all talk."
Maz narrowed his eyes at the boy. He calmly leant forward and spoke. "Are you taking part in the Chuunin Exams? I'm looking forward to killing you." Maz leered.
Offended and shocked, the boy stood up as the wagon pressed forward. "You wanna fight?!" Before Maz could answer, the wagon ran over a small rock -- not large enough to cause damage, but enough to shake the cart. The boy lost his balance and fell back onto his seat. Maz laughed at them. The three rowdy Genin didn't find it funny. "Shut your mouth... you're the one who wants trouble." "YOU SHUT UP!!"
The boy was so childish. Maz supposed he was being just as childish for fuelling the fire within him, but he gained immense satisfaction from setting this guy off. Besides, he started it.
The argument had escalated to the point where the young Genin started yelling. Now he was loud enough for almost everyone in the whole convoy to hear.

Iro followed Maz to what seemed to be an empty cart up near the front of the caravan. When they got in, they found the cart to have three other Genin inside. Maz must've known them because a heated conversation began before Iro could even sit down...
"Well well, look who it is.... Sorry, this caravan is full." "I'll bet it is," "Hey, nah, we're expecting someone, so you'll have to get out." "Oh.... okay." "Nah nah, get out, you're not wanted here." "Oh, that's a pity. I hope your forehead doesn't hurt too much." "It didn't even... shut up." "I hope you turned your book into Tokoharu-san, by the way. I would hate to see what happens to you if they find it." "That little skank wouldn't do anything... she's all talk."
Maz leaned in and said, "Are you taking part in the Chuunin Exams? I'm looking forward to killing you" "You wanna fight?!"
Before Maz could answer, the wagon went over a bumb, and the boy fell hard onto his seat. Iro couldn't help but laugh.
"Shut your mouth... you're the one who wants trouble." "YOU SHUT UP!!"
"Yah, shut up blindy"
"Blindy?!" at this, Iro lost control and began dying with laughter, "blindy? thats the best you can do?... I mean... I mean... c'mon, something a little better... that... that isn't even insulting! My cat is more intelligent than you!"
"What was that?!?"
"I said... my! cat! is! smarter! than! you!" Iro said, over-anunciating each individual word. At this point, Iro was begining to tear up from laughing so hard.

Maz laughed quietly at Iro's comment... and then added "I wouldn't give him so much credit."
The Genin pulled a rude gesture at them, and Maz was laughing inside. He almost let out a small giggle, when the second Genin started raising his voice again.

Masato, looking towards the ruckus three wagons ahead noticed Sorien. He hopped down from where he'd been sitting lazily on the edge of the wagon, and picked up his three swords and his pack. Moving forward, he caught up with the wagon. "Hey there, Sorien. What kind of trouble did you work up this time?" Masato grinned easily and looked at the rowdy Genin who had spoken first. "Gee, that's quite a divot in your forehead. Shouldn't you get that looked at by the medic-nins?"

L---Likewise... Kohana heard Nada stutter as she shook Haruki's hand. Then, a rediculous smirk spread across Kohana's face when she noticed that Nada-sensei...was...blushing!
She looked over at Aijou, who seemed to have noticed, too...And well...Ryuji...He didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on. That was so typical of Ryuji. He was off in his own little world, most likely plotting a new practical joke to play on someone.
Haruki, however, noticed Nada's blushing right off. Pulling his hand out of Nada's, he spoke up quietly. "Are you alright?"

"Are you alright?"
No!
Nadameru tried desperately not to look as embarrassed as she was as Haruki relinquished her hand. "Y-yes, I'm fine," she said quickly, voice wavering. Well, as if that wasn't a dead giveaway. She was certainly making a first impression. Way to go, Nada. Way to act like a starstruck little genin. She hadn't felt so ridiculous since...
...err, well....
...ever.
She heard a slight ruckus nearby, but didn't think too much of it. They were a lot of Genin on this trip, they had probably gotten a little restless... although, it was a bit early on. Oh, well. She had more perturbing matters to deal with.
Great. She should probably say something right about now, but her mind drew a complete blank. The "disturbance" nearby was escalating and she could almost hear the voices clearly. Deciding it was a good distraction, she turned her head a bit to look in that direction.
"What is that?"

After shaking Iros hand, and catching back up to Mazz, Mazz decided it was time to move into a caravan. After a short moments indecision, he picked one which looked empty.
"After you Iro" Offered Sorien, he followed, and Mazz climbed in last. He found his place in an arkward silence. "Well well, look who it is.... Sorry, this caravan is full.". "Those voices...I know them...they're the ones who insulted the red-haired lady. Dear god, do I HAVE to be with them?" Thought Sorien to himself.
A yelling match erupted out, with Mazz, obviously having met them before now, steaming them up. "That little skank wouldn't do anything... she's all talk.". "How dare he say that. Oh how I would" Soriens train of thought was interrupted by Mazz. "Are you taking part in the Chuunin Exams? I'm looking forward to killing you.". Sorien smiled to himself on the inside. He was quite pleased with the way Mazz had put that; ever so subtly.
The genin stood up and threatened Mazz, before falling over on his backside. Sorien resisted the urge to laugh, but the sight of an irate person falling flat on their butt was an amusing sight at that. "This is S-ranked Sorien. Don't get involved, or this very well may be your last" He told himself.
After Iro, Mazz and the other 3 had a short exchange, someone else made an appearance. His team-mate dropped in, noticing Sorien first, he darted over and asked "Hey there, Sorien. What kind of trouble did you work up this time?". To this Sorien replied with a exasperated tone. "I didn't do a darn thing mate, these guys are practically looking for a fight, I just happened to stumble on in here with Mazz and Iro..." Sorien quickly pointed out the people to their names respectively. Sorien noticed Masato look up at the fight mongering genin he spoke of, and from what Sorien heard, he did not mean any harm from his next comment "Gee, that's quite a divot in your forehead. Shouldn't you get that looked at by the medic-nins?" The genin did not take that well. Sorien let out another sigh, waiting some form of intervention.

Akina sighed when she heard the commotion in the wagon behind her. Having to babysit all the genin on this mission was a nightmare, but it was better than arousing suspicion by bringing only Jounin and ANBU. Dealing with that particular group of genin earlier had put her in somewhat of a foul mood, so when she heard the ruckus, she had enough. Excusing herself politely from the lead wagon, she stepped out into the fresh air and waited for the wagon to approach.
Ripping the door open with a bang, she entered the wagon, emerald sparks practically shooting from her eyes. "Just what in the world is going on in here?" She demanded in a dangerously calm tone of voice.

Before the argument could escalate any further, Akina opened the door. "Just what in the world is going on in here?"
Maz turned towards her, surprised to see her. He should've expected someone to come along at some point.
"Ahhh, Tokoharu-san," he greeted her before continuing, "these three Genin were just saying that we're not allowed to be in this carriage. Something about it being reserved simply for them, and their friends."
The leader of the Genin defiantly spoke out. "We did not! He's lying!"
"I didn't know us Genin had the right to reserve carriages, Tokoharu-san."

Akina sighed and crossed her arms. "Don't think I'm so simple as to think all that ruckus was over carriages," she said bluntly. "Now, I want someone to tell me what has happened in here, and I want to hear it now." She looked each occupant dead in the eye, hoping at least one of them would get the message.

"This one seemed to think this carriage belongs to him and his friends. I made a comment and he proceeded to start yelling at me." "Pff, shut up! We did not!" "He then went on to, well... call you a skank, saying you were all talk." The Genin blushed. "...uh... I did not! He's lying!" Maz smirked. "This one here," -- he motioned to the one who insulted Iro -- "also referred to my friend as handicapped, calling him names and teasing him for... well, his inability to see naturally." The slight grin on the Genin's face showed he was trying to hold back laughter. Anyone could tell.
Maz continued. "Oh, and by the way, you might want to run a thorough check on this boy's possessions. I found a book in his bag before before. Come Come Paradise."
The leader of the Genin stopped dead in his tracks. He reached for his back pocket, and tried to conceal the small booklet hidden in it.
"He's lying. I don't... why would I have that book?"

"Actually, Tokoharu-san he does. It's in his back right pocket... and it looks like he has 2 others in his pack." Masato had quietly activated the byakugan, and decided to butt in, because he now had a bone to pick with the loudmouthed Genin. A generally laid back person, Masato held a grudge against anyone who ridiculed those who they considered weaker than themselves, for any reason. He shrugged, as if to say "don't blame me... you started it." Now grinning to himself, he stepped back to watch the fireworks begin.

"......is that so?" Akina said quietly. Her voice was ice. "Give them to me," she said, holding out her hand.
The Genin didn't budge.
"When a superior gives you an order, child," she put an emphasis on the word, "you will do well to obey."
"I don't have to do anything!" the young idiot yelled and launched a hard punch right at her face.
Literally before anyone could blink, she had him on the ground, her knee digging into the small of his back and the offending arm twisted back in a rather uncomfortable position. Whenever he tried to move, a firm tug on his arm was all he needed to put him in his place.
"Let's see...." she reached into his right back pocket, and sure enough, three orange books came out in her hand. She casually threw them into the back of the wagon, and the two other Genin scurried for cover. "Do you realize, that not only is it illegal to disrespect --- and assault, of all things --- a commanding officer?" She asked the boy. He didn't respond. "And did you know it is also illegal to have mature-rated literature in your possession as a minor?" Still, silence. She let him go and stood - without her usual high heels, it was quite easy for her to stand inside the small wagon - and brushed herself off. Surprisingly, her favorite yukata hadn't taken the slightest bit of damage. Though she did feel like washing it after having to manhandle such a brat.
"Pick those up," she ordered the boy, and he did so. "Now come with me." His face paled. She heard sniggers coming from the wagon's other occupants. "Do you find something funny?" She asked them. They fell silent. She left the wagon, the Genin close behind.
"You'll be lucky if you'll ever be a shinobi again," she told him quietly. She would hand him over to the ANBU, who would take him back home - it wasn't far yet - and then return to the caravan. He would be dealt with when they returned. Now she had to deal with his companions.
