Hinomoto Aiko
Village: Sand
Gender: Female
Age: 11
Rank: Academy Student
Blood Type: O
Chakra Affinity: Fire
Appearance: Fiery red hair hangs straight to Aiko's shoulders, held back by a simple headband. Her startling red eyes are streaked with gold and always seem to contain a spark or two of excitement. She always appears taller than her height of 4'8” because of the high-heeled sandals she loves to wear to the point of influencing others to wear them as well. She enjoys wearing fishnets, and must have the symbol of the Hidden Sand somewhere on her clothing if she is to go out in public.
Personality: Confident, outgoing, and energetic with a temper to match her fiery hair color, Aiko is one feisty little character. Don't let that fool you, though. Aiko is a total sweetheart with a soft spot for lonely people. Friendly and likable as she is, people are drawn to her magnetic personality. She enjoys being in the spotlight sometimes, but really prefers to have a few truly close friends and will stop at nothing to do something for a friend.
History: Aiko's childhood began as normally as that of any child of a shinobi family. She grew up with parents and siblings going on missions for the village, and it was only natural for her to enter the Ninja Academy. Almost as soon as she set foot in the building, she was getting involved and making friends. This led her to joining the Kazekage's Fan Club – after all, why not celebrate someone as strong and wonderful as the Kazekage? - where she met her first true friend, Yoko. She and Yoko grew closer and closer and eventually became acquainted with another girl, Arisa. In almost no time the girls became inseparable, and have been ever since.
Aiko lost her father and older brother when the Sand went to Konoha's aid in the War. Because she was very close to them, she doesn't understand why they had to die for another village and harbors ill will towards the Hidden Leaf. While her mother has explained the importance of their alliance with the Leaf, Aiko just can't let go of her feelings of anger and loss. Her friends hope that maybe meeting some Konoha shinobi will change her mind, but only time will tell...
