Name: Uchiha Takeo (うちは剛雄)
Village: Leaf
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Rank: Genin
Blood Type: O+
Chakra Affinity: Fire
Other Info of Note: It is Takeo's lifelong aspiration to one day become chief of the Konoha Military Police Corps. He has only partially awakened his Sharingan, possessing one “comma” in his left eye and two in his right.
Family:
-Father: Uchiha Masanori (48) – Jounin, Konoha Military Police Corps
-Mother: Uchiha Harumi (45) – Jounin (Retired), Konoha Military Police Corps
-Siblings:Uchiha Masako (Sister, 12) – Genin
-Other: Various extended family
Appearance: Takeo is slightly on the taller side of average height for his age at roughly 5'8”, with a somewhat slender build toned from years of training. He of course inherited his clan's coloring: fair skin, black eyes, and black hair which, in his case, is kept in a short ponytail except for medium-length bangs he is constantly brushing out of his face. His standard clothing is comfortable and simple: a collared tunic with the Uchiha crest on the back, longish cargo shorts (or sometimes pants), and – of course – his Konoha forehead protector, worn in the typical headband fashion.
Personality: When summing up Takeo's personality, there is one word that comes to mind: relaxed. Takeo takes life as it comes, rarely coming fully out of his laid-back, easygoing demeanor. This allows him to adapt to a variety of situations, like the odd circumstances of his employment, and when combined with his friendly attitude, makes it very easy for him to get along with people. It's important to understand, however, that Takeo is by no means a slacker: he understands the responsibility inherent in being a Shinobi and a member of the Uchiha clan, and works extremely hard to make sure he can live up to the high standards he sets for himself.
Likes: Making friends, being useful, training, shiny things, curry
Dislikes: Overly childish behavior, discrimination, being bored, natto
History: Takeo's life has been pretty normal for an Uchiha, at least until the war struck. He began learning his clan's arts from a young age, eventually performing his first Katon jutsu during his days in the Academy, and eventually graduated with high marks to become a Genin under one of Konoha's best Jounin. His days were spent training, harassing or being harassed by his little sister, and living the normal, day-to-day life of Konoha's young ninja.
It wasn't long after he became a Genin that the war truly hit the Fire Country in full force, though. His team was forced to train long hours to keep up with the increasingly demanding missions being assigned them, and while they were able to keep up for the most part, a day soon came when things reached their breaking point: a thirteen-year-old Takeo and his team were ambushed during a scouting mission. It was this attack that led Takeo to awaken his partial Sharingan, and while his team escaped, one of his teammates was seriously wounded in the conflict. He is still in therapy to recover from his injuries, and to this day is not yet able to return to active duty.
Over the course of the war his other teammate went on to become a Chuunin in one of several provisional promotions, given because the village needed higher-ranking shinobi but was unable to participate in any official Chuunin Exams. She has gone on to command very successful missions, while – the war now over – his Sensei has been called away to fill the void left by the upper-ranking shinobi who were killed in battle.
With one teammate and his teacher seeing to more important duties and his other teammate currently out of commission, Takeo has been left to float on his own. Instead of normal missions he takes on jobs assigned to him by the Ninja Administration, be it helping out in their offices or performing temp work for various people and businesses in the village who wish to hire genin to perform specific tasks. He will occasionally tag along with more routine patrol missions as well, but most of his work keeps him within the village's walls. These temp jobs and patrol tagalongs are credited to him as one D- or C-rank mission per day, respectively. He hopes to find a new team soon, so he can continue his growth as a Konoha shinobi. In the meantime, though, he is content to train with his family or on his own and do his part to rebuild the village.
