Name: Tensei Jiro
Village: Leaf
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Rank: Genin
Blood Type: B-
Chakra Affinity: Wind
Musical Specialization (Primary): Vocal Performance
Musical Specialization (Secondary): Flute, Composition
Other Info of Note: As the second son of the late Tensei heir, Kanaye, and brother of the current heir, Ichiro, Jiro is technically considered one of the potential heirs to the leadership of the Tensei Clan. He would much rather his brother inherit the position, though.
Family:
-Father: Tensei Kanaye (Deceased) – Jounin, killed in action
-Mother: Tensei Suzume (37) – Jounin, retired
-Siblings: Tensei Ichiro (Brother, 16) – Jounin
Tensei Keiko (Sister, 11) – Academy Student
-Other: Numerous Tensei relatives
Appearance: Jiro is of average height and weight for his age, with his family's telltale fair skin and large, slightly tilted eyes. While he is not very muscular, he has lately been developing signs of growing into an athletic, strong-shouldered build, which he inherited from his father. His coloring is the same as his aunt, uncle, and late father: pale blond hair and light-to-medium blue eyes. He used to wear his blond hair in fluffy quasi-spikes that made him appear to have a mane rather than normal hair, but lately he has been letting that “mane” grow out so that his hair falls in bouncy, lively layers that still have a mind of their own. His wardrobe varies from day to day from the traditional garb worn by many Tensei to clothes similar to what any boy his age might wear, and everywhere in between. He used to carry himself with a cocky sort of confidence, but lately his expression has taken on a more introspective look, probably due to the loss of so many loved ones in the war.
Personality: Jiro's personality is somewhat dualistic in nature. While his Tensei education has taught him how to be serious when he needs to be, living his life in his older brother's shadow has caused him to reach out for attention however possible. In everyday life he is loud, boisterous, and fun-loving, and he adores being the center of attention – not just for attention's sake, but also so he can entertain other people. He will go to great lengths to make someone else smile, if only for a second, and is convinced he possesses an ample amount of Star Power, which he will happily declare to anyone he deems even remotely interested in hearing it. In recent times, however, he has been shown to have a deep, pensive side, though this part of his personality rarely surfaces, and it only does so when he is alone or with the few people he can trust absolutely.
Likes: Being in the spotlight, making friends, randomly bursting into song, aimlessly wandering in search of adventure
Dislikes: Losing people important to him, not being able to protect his friends, being ignored, forgetting things (especially songs), cabbage
History: Born as the second child to the heir of the Tensei Clan, Jiro has always been in a privileged position. He received the best education his clan has to offer, was given everything he needed, and had most of what he wanted. He was, however, constantly overshadowed by his older brother Ichiro, who consistently exceeded expectations with his stellar performance in training, music, and on missions. While Jiro adores his brother and always has, this led to a certain amount of resentment, and Jiro began to act out in order to draw some attention to himself. This continued for a few years and even affected Jiro's otherwise fantastic performance in the Academy, and it wasn't until the war hit Konoha in full force that the two resolved their differences. Jiro now regards his brother with an attitude of friendly rivalry, striving to be someone who can not only match Ichiro in skill, but make him proud as well.
Jiro's otherwise (relatively) worry-free life came crashing down in the final battle of the war, in which his grandparents sacrificed their lives fighting at the side of the Ninth Hokage, which was soon followed by a skirmish in which his own father, Tensei Kanaye, was killed in action while leading a strike that freed several captured Sand and Leaf shinobi.
Very little time has passed since the loss of such important people in Jiro's life – particularly his father, whom Jiro idolized – and while he knows in his mind that life goes on, he is still struggling to come to terms with what happened and to pick up the pieces they've left behind. Thankfully, he has his friends and family by his side to ensure that he does just that.
