No, It's just a strange forum populated by socially and culturally challenged youth who seek enlightenment and understanding, but are too lazy to actually work for it, so they embrace another culture's traditions and general mannerisms in order to defy preset social norms in an attempt at simple non conformist deviance.
It's simple.

yup...pretty sad,
but hey, look on the bright side.
Um...you might just grow out of it like a phase just like those rubber pants and Spice Girls action figures.

So the forums are just some strange sanctuary for weirdos, eh, Kiel? And personally, I'd rather not grow out of Otaku-ism, just adapt to living in both worlds. Or something.

not necessarily weirdos Kaori,
your words, not mine.
I enjoy these forums because of their quirky nature, people here aren't afraid to be random, even at the expense of wildly going off topic, it's what I love about this place.
As for Otaku-ism, I'd rather not grow out of it either, but I think I'll slowly mature to the point where I'm less of a fanatic...or not, who knows?

As far as I'm concerned, I don't really care if I'm an otaku until the day I die. I'll pass on the heritage to my childrens. And such. And they'll say "my mother is such a freak." But that's alright ... because...
....*cries* They don't love me!
....*comes back to the now* Anywho. Yeah. *makes the ozzfest hand sign* Rock on. For now, we're here. We're happenin. And we're not leaving any time soon. XD

Being an anime fan is awsome but also quite expensive.....maybe anime fans go bankrupt and die but since they still want to see their favortie animes they come back to life as zombies thus explaining the white eyed people, and since their still fans the anime companies can use the white eyed people to do their bidding....its all a conspiracy..
