Well, right now I'm just struggling through the basics. (always did do horribly in math and science.)
But, eventually, I want to Major in Oriental Studies and become a Japanese translator (books, magazines, movies...all that). Then I can take a whack at some of the horrible subtitling I've seen.

Sounds really fun. I always really wanted to work for some of the videogame makers such as squaresoft (or now as they call it SquarEnix) and make some videogames. As you could probably guess what sparked that is Final Fantasy. lol

I also thought of becoming an interpreter - either for games and anime and such, or personally going around with people and translating for them. Even if I don't do it as a carreer, if I get good enough you may just see "Translation: K-chan" on fansubs one day!
As far as school goes, I'm still horribly undecided. I know I want to study digital media/macromedia, whether as a major or not. I was also thinking of maybe chemistry, as long as I don't have to take any insanely hard math classes. I'm still praying and thinking about what I'll choose. Maybe I'll just go for my general AA degree and see where things go from there... or maybe I'll just start taking random classes and see what I like.
Or maybe I'll just triple major. ^^;;; I think I'd die from the workload though...

For the last five years I've been training to be an animator...taking all the necessary high school courses. Anything with art really.
But my focus has changed slightly, I'm focussing on English now, raising my average to be accepted into Trent.
5 year English teaching BA
2 year Humber college ESL program
1 JET application
1 year of English teaching in Hokkaido
etc etc

Hmmmm... lets see. I've been lucky enough to really know what I want to do for a while now. Ever since mid-middle school, I've always wanted to go into some facet of computer/video game design. I've been working on my Math. Currently taking Math Analysis, and am signed up for Calc next year. Unfortunately my school doesn't really have very much in the path of computers tech. I'm getting my freshmen year of english done my senior year of high school, and am currently very set on one school. I'm aiming to get a nice 4-year degree from Westwood College in Chicago. Other than that, I'm just hoping to do a little better my Senior year than this year.

Nice. Lots of really cool goals. I see lots of them have somewhat of a Japanese touch to them (hmmmm I wonder why? lol)

lol.... do I still count? I'm... actually not in school at the moment: I've finished one year of university, and that was all I intended on doing. lol I spent my year doing a certificate in PC servicing. Yep, I'm a computer geek... that's gonna be me. The cert was boring... but I did it 'coz it had the Cisco curriculum (twenty points to anyone who's heard of them and know what they do!) in it... plus I got to learn a few courses for MCP* and MCSE**, which I plan on pursuing after I sit my CCNA*** (again. Blah!). Yeah. I wasn't particularly interested in a degree. Not that there's anything wrong with it. And I'm not attacking any of your guys dreams or goals either. Given that I'm heading into the IT industry, industry certifications seem like a better road to go down for me. Plus, the big bonus for an industry certification such as CCNA or MCSE is that they're universal. I can go anywhere in the world... Cisco gear is Cisco gear. Microsoft is Microsoft. As opposed to... moving overseas, and having the degree of some piddly lil' NZ institution. But that's just my path that I'm walking down. We each have our own, hmm? Although I've always had a love for creating things. Music, movies, dreams of creating video games and animating things... but I have chosen the realm of the computer fix-it/network geek as my future. lol *MCP = Microsoft Certified Professional. Proficient in a single Microsoft platform, such as Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Windows geek. ** MCSE = Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Attained after several MCPs. All-round Microsoft geek. *** CCNA = Cisco Certified Network Associate. Networking geek.

First, I gotta make it through highschool. That's my first goal. But when I go to college, I plan on majoring in computer animation. Like making video games and such...Maybe workin' for Pixar...or doin' special effects and stuff. I'd like to work for the NASCAR art department, too. Which would be so awesome! Being able to be involved in two things I'm so passionate about would be so cool!
