I don't have any pets at the moment. Which is kind of sad. I'm partial to cats though.
Collections...
*puts on Egon-ish voice and glasses*
I collect spores, molds, and fungus.
Seriously, I don't, I just love Ghostbusters.
I collect...quite a few things, games, buttons, a few odd capsule figures, books, autographs, human ears, roleplay games, etc.
Yeah, all pretty normal stuff

Well, define "normal". It's all relative, you see.
For example, to Orochimaru, killing Genin and collecting dead things in jars is "normal".
To Jiraiya, a man peeking in on a woman's bath is "normal".
To Naruto, eating a steady diet of nothing but ramen is "normal".
And for many people, doing anything considered "not normal" by the mainstream population is "normal".

what, you mean you guys don't colect human ears?
C'mon, it's perfectly 'normal'.
I mean, it's more interesting than collecting...bottle caps or...stamps...or beer mats.
Am I right people?
(btw, to people who actually collect bottle caps, stamps, and beer mats, I'm joking, please don't take offense)

....lmao. That's almost as bad as my Mema (means Grandmother for us XD)'s habit. She skins squirrels that my cousin shoots and puts their bodies in plastic bags in the freezer. I opened it up looking for ice one day and Anywho, I have two dogs. Sugar, my chihuahua (OMG HOW'D I GET MY NAME?!), and Jake, my Pitt Bull (cute little puppy...). As far as collections go, I collect penguin things. Penguin plates. Penguin plushies. Penguin crystals. Penguin ornaments. You penguin name it, I'll buy it. ;D I'm obsessed.

I have a penguin that sings Sleigh Ride when you press its fin. Except it's a few years old so I don't think the batteries are operating at top condition anymore, so it's all warped-sounding. Like you're listening to it underwater or something. You should be interested in this, then: www2.warnerbros.com/happyfeet/Click "Watch the Trailer" at the bottom. I want to see this movie.

*revives thread now that I have something else to post about*
In my house there are four snakes and a large number of fish. They are really cool. ^________^ Two of the snakes are pythons, and they're the coolest-looking snakes I've ever seen. We're prolly gonna be getting more and more snakes over time, too. Snakes and fish for the win!

I have to kitties. My little Butters, named after Butters from South Park, who we actually saved from the warehouse of my mom's work place as the runt of a litter of street cat at about two months old (He's almost two years old and getting big now). The other is NekoChan, her name is Japanese for cat, we got her right when my mom, my sister and I were getting into the anime conventions so it fit perfectly. Let's see, collect? I collect anime plushies, rocks (especially quartz), puzzling video games, and dragon stuff.

Ooooh, cats.
Like Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh...because clearly I needed to make an anime related reference...I have a soft spot for cats.
Then again...I like America's Funniest Home Videos...which frequently shows cats doing dumb/painful things...
...odd.
Either way, I have no pets right now. I'd like a cat...but that probably won't happen for a while.
And as for the older debate or differing normal-ness, I had a bizarre moment the other day.
Almost all of my friends liberally complain about their parents; about being mean, stupid, grounding them, being insensitive or indifferent, or downright cruel.
I can almost never relate to any of these situations 0.o
If I may share something personal, I come from what I would define as a 'normal' family. My parents were together until I was about 11, when they divorced. My dad remarried after a year, and I live with him and my stepmom. I have a healthy relationship with all of my parents, we communicate regularily and share a mutual, loving relationship.
...I'm starting to think perhaps I'm the one who's not normal...
...perhaps my friends just have unreasonable parents...perhaps I'm just not used to being 'rebellious' or anything against my folks...
...either way, I believe my fandom of many things have now reached the 'obsessive' phase. For about an entire day, I could think of almost nothing but Naruto. I was certainly having a geekout. Is this normal for an unnormal person?
Am I suddenly not normal, even among the un-normal?
Woah...I took up a big post of chunk...or a chunk of post...
...um...just keep randoming.

You're normal for an Otaku. Man, you get along witrh BOTH you're parents? Lucky. My mom and step-mom, who I call cat lady when she's not around, I love but my dad...*Sweetdrop* If I'm not on honor roll he or working for him he could care less about me. My mom is proud of my fanfiction but my dad's just like "Okay, whatever. So anyways back to my life." Ack! No wonder I have Moriko wanting to kill her dad sometimes I want to kill mine!!!! *Looks around. Takes a deep breath.* Sorry, early morning Sundays are my crazier mornings.
