The CN Tower!!! We stayed not far from there. That place is awesome. The view is so pretty (if freezing), but the glass ceiling FREAKED me out the first time I went out on it!!!

Yeah, a lot of people tell me that when I mention it.
I don't live in Toronto, but just north of it. About a 30 minute bus and subway ride.
I <3 T.O.

It's alot quicker than the way we went: Plane from Tampa to Detroit to meet my grandparents, drive across the river to meet my aunt, uncle, and cousins at the train station of the city (the name of which I forget at the moment), then a FOUR HOUR TRAIN RIDE to Toronto. I got on the train thinking it'd be about 30 minutes or something because I had no idea where Toronto actually was. Boy, was I glad to get off that train. XDXD

Train! I took a train to downtown Dallas once. I think trains take longer because they have to make so many stops... I mean... airplains don't have to stop. Who are you going to pick up? A bird? Alien, maybe? A Russian?

haha.
I am from Florida as well..and I love the weather. Yay for the warmness! I get cold super easily all the time though so I almost never wear shorts and I like bringing a jacket with me almost everywhere. 70-80 degrees is a comfortable temperature range for me.

I'm used to the cold.
Super warm weather makes me sweat...but it makes for great trips to the beach.
Pppht, I'd rather have a snowball fight/snowman compitition with friends during the December/January months

65-80 degrees is usually my ideal temp, or higher if the humidity is at a decently low level, which is almost never the case. The things I love most about FL weather are thunderstorms (Tampa Bay Area is the lightning capital of the world, tee hee) and summer nights. They're warm, but if you sit outside in shorts, a tank top, and no shoes, with a nice breeze and a bowl of ice cream.... life is good. ;D

My fav part about Florida.
Its thunderstorms.
They're so nice and mild, cool too!
Our thunderstorms are always dark and cold...but still cool I suppose.

I'll tell ya what, the west coast of Florida is a whole lot better than the east coast...It actually gets cool in Tampa...Over in Boca Raton where I originated from, there is no break in the hot weather...
I miss Ohio...because I miss the snow...And I miss North Carolina...because I want 4 seasons...And I miss that good ol' Southern cookin'!...And I was closer to LMS!

Crispy fried chicken, field peas and dumplings, fried venison, salty fried fish (bones, head and all! Adds flavor!), ultra-sweet tea, fried corn bread...The list goes on and on...
Oh how I love it...Though, you can gain a lot of weight...And all that grease probably isn't the best thing either...But it's still so WONDERFUL!

Southern cooking is okay for me now and then, but I don't know if I could eat it all the time. I'm a midwesterner at heart... we eat a lot of corn and vegetables up there. But, mostly we're just an integration of the food habits of the south and north. Some people I know were more southerners and some the opposite. ;D It's an interesting thing.
Hmm. I visited Ohio once, and I really liked it there. I like it when it's cloudy outside and I like rain a lot, too, so it was fun. ^_^
I went to Florida around November one time to go to Disneyworld and it was really, really nice! It wasn't too cold or too hot! ;D

I can't handle southern cooking all the time...It's too heavy on my stomach and then I never feel all that wonderful afterward, but it's worth the nausea to eat as many of grandaddy's fried fish as you possible can! Yummy fried fish!
Yeah, Ohio's nice. The people there are so friendly...And it does get downcast a lot there...And you're lucky to get a least one or two days of hot weather...The rest of the year it's cold...especially if you live in the snowbelt...That's where I lived the first year my family moved there...Not fun...
