So, being the good boyfriend I am, I bought Smeagi a boxed set of the anime 'Peacemaker'. She'd heard it was pretty good. Sat down and watched the whole thing with her.
Girls, if you want to see a King Bishie, watch this anime series. Keep your eyes out for a guy named Okita.
For the guys...there isn't so much action in this, although the end of the series has quite an action packed last episode to tie everything all together. The characters don't tend to have development in this series though also, it's about one of the only letdowns of this. As I've said before, I like to see a character respond to situations and learn from them, in order to act differently in the future. However, the characters are still well defined, and the animation style is quite pretty.
There's also one episode in there which made me giggle until my stomach hurt. It was almost a stand alone episode, and someone could giggle at it a little even having no prior knowledge of what the series is about, although it would help, because there are some characters who are really uptight, and they act...differently.
There's only one more point to make, and that's about the ending, but it's gonna be a spoiler, so I'm gonna make the spoiler box.
If I were to rate it...7/10. Not a bad series to watch.

It's about the guy who ugh. I don't even remember his name...Mizuki maybe? The guy who is the same age as Tetsu, but works for the other faction, and they bump into each other, and become friends (not the girl, Sai). Anyway, at the end of the whole thing, he's busy clutching his Sensei's head, in a blanket in a dark alley...there's just something really disturbing about that whole scene...
