Basic Assaku Clan Techniques
Kouatsu Takatobi no Jutsu (Pressure High Jump Technique) {Academy Student}: The user quickly pressurizes the air beneath his or her feet, propelling her/himself higher, or allowing her/him to change directions midair. Requires very little chakra, used in short bursts, which is why it is perfect for academy students. However, the greater amount of chakra that is put into it, the more effective the technique will be. Chuunin and Jounin are able to reach phenominal heights or cross incredible distances with this technique. However, it is usually impractical to put so much chakra into it in a battle scenario.
Kouatsu Fukiya no Jutsu (Pressure Dart Technique) {Genin}: The user fires small "bullets" of compacted air at his/her target. The greater the number, the greater the chakra requirement.
Kouatsu Gen no Jutsu (Pressure Reduction Technique) {Genin}: The user lowers the air pressure on a heavy object, making it easier to lift. A skillful user with precise chakra control could, for instance, lighten a rock and throw it, then restore the pressure as it connects with the target. Only a chuunin or jounin could use it to this extent. Additionally, the heavier the object, the greater the chakra cost.
Nami Toku no Jutsu (Wave Shield Technique) {Chuunin}: The user compacts the air in front of him/her and thrusts it forward at high speed. While this is normally implemented to block attacks, it has a myriad of uses. The chakra cost depends on the size of the shield as well as the distance it travels, as the user has to hold it intact for the duration of its journey. This is not an easy task, which is why many only learn it at chuunin level, and some not until jounin.
Kouatsu Kone no Jutsu (Pressure Pull Technique) {Jounin}: The user lowers the air pressure in a desired spot, creating a vacuum. This allows objects or enemies to be sucked closer, but larger objects require a larger vacuum, and therefore a greater drain on chakra. It can be a very dangerous technique if done incorrectly (the pull could be too great and suck in the user!), which is why it is reserved for jounin level shinobi.
Kuuki Sanran no Jutsu (Air Dispersion Technique) {Jounin}: One the most dangerous, if not the most dangerous technique of the Assaku clan. This technique allows the user to decrease the amount of air pressure (and therefore the amount of oxygen) in a desired radius. This would give the user the ability to cause his/her target to lose conciousness, if not to suffocate them completely. However, it is an incredibly inexact science, and there is a very high risk of one making a mistake and killing the target unintentionally, or actually turning the technique on his/hersef. Therefore, not only is its intruction reserved to jounin who show themselves worthy in an ethical sense, but also those who pass a rigorous test of chakra control and sharp concentration. Drains a great deal of chakra, especially if there are multiple targets.
Rune's Variations
Because Rune has the potential to perform Homura clan techniques as well as Assaku clan techniques, it is only inevitable that he would eventually find ways to create unique techniques that combine elements of each. This is not something that will happen until he gets older and becomes more exprienced as a shinobi, however I will go ahead and document them here for future reference. The level is the level in which he will either develop or begin to develop the technique. As with most experiments, it will take him some time and practice to perfect these.
Kouatsu Takatobi Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Pressure High Jump Explosion Technique) {Chuunin}: This is a combination of the Homura Bakuha no Jutsu and the Assaku Kouatsu Takatobi no Jutsu. As Rune propels himself with the air pressure, he also causes an explosion at his feet, which could serve many purposes. If he was being pursued, it could damage his enemy. It could also serve as a distraction. Requires only slightly more chakra than the regular Kouatsu Takatobi no Jutsu, however (as with most of his techniques), it depends on how far he wishes to go and the size of the explosion he wishes to create.
Kaki Nami Toku no Jutsu (Fire Wave Sheild Technique) {Jounin}: Fundamentally the same as the regular Nami Toku no Jutsu, but allows Rune to damage his opponent in the process. Requires more chakra and is highly volatile because of the use of compressed air (more oxygen = BOOM!). He will be unable to use this technique until his control over his fire chakra is much more precise.
Special Note: Rune will also learn many of the Homura clan techniques, either from Taro, Nadameru, or Kisen. However, he will probably not learn them at the same rate as someone focusing on them specifically. He will probably learn the Academy Student and Genin level techniques at the proper level, then taper off his study on the Homura techniques to learn those of the Assaku clan. My tentative outline is that he will learn Bakuha no Jutsu as a chuunin, and the remaining techniques as a jounin.
