Name: Adabana Miyoko (徒花 美代子)
Village: Hidden Leaf
Age: 37
Gender: Female
Rank: Jounin
Blood Type: O-
Chakra Affinity: Fire
Other Info of Note: Miyoko is a close friend and former teammate of Tensei Kaori, the Tenth Hokage. She is also an accomplished shinobi in her own right, having earned the nickname “Konoha's Crimson Butterfly” because of her unusual jutsu.
Family:
-Father: Adabana Susumu (Jounin, killed in action)
-Mother: Adabana Kayo (Jounin, killed in action)
-Siblings: None
-Other: None known, save her friends and teammates
Appearance: True to her wild personality, Miyoko is not average-looking by any means, even for a shinobi. Blood-red eyes shine out from a fair complexion – eyes that always seem to be gleaming with some form of mischief or another – and wild, flowing black hair hangs well past her waist. She ties the red fabric of her forehead protector under her shaggy and voluminous bangs, but somehow a few strands always manage to escape the upsweep and end up plastered to her face by the headband. As far as build goes, everything about her figure says “voluptuous”. She has a very curvaceous figure that she isn't afraid to show off.
This is most obviously displayed by her clothing, or lack thereof – that isn't to say, of course, that she isn't covered; in fact, she shows less skin than many in Konoha. However, her coverings can hardly be considered “true” clothing: most of her daily wardrobe consists of yards and yards of bandages. They start at her bust and wrap all the way down to her feet, and again they start near her shoulders and spiral their way down the arms until they reach her hands. On top of this she usually wears baggy armwarmers, a long red and black skirt with slits so high on both sides that it's more like two strips of fabric than a skirt, and – when absolutely required to wear shoes – black high heels. When modesty is required for a mission, she has a sleeveless kimono-style top that she ties on with a simple sash over her normal attire; though sometimes she simply dons her Flak Jacket instead. She occasionally dons normal Jounin attire, usually when she either needs to be especially formal... or when she has overslept.
Personality: Outgoing, outspoken, and most definitely outrageous, Miyoko is the last thing that comes to mind when one thinks of the phrase “feminine charm”. Always making dynamic statements and grand entrances, at first glance it seems as though the meaning of her surname - “Something flashy with no content” - is true; however, this is only the case on the surface. When it's time to get down to business, there are few as serious and capable as Miyoko, who can change from laughing party girl to cold assassin in a split second. That isn't to say, though, that the cold, serious demeanor is anywhere near the norm for this wild kunoichi. And while laughing and carefree, she also has a red-hot attitude and knows how to use it.
Likes: Sake, sweets, and bandages (in that order)
Dislikes: Too many pointless rules, stuffy people, restricting clothing.
History: Having been orphaned at a young age (before graduating the Academy), Miyoko originally adopted her loud, outspoken personality to cover up the sadness she felt. However, the friendships she made in the Academy and during her Genin years eased her pain and soon she was just crazy because she liked it, and has been ever since. Upon graduating the Academy she was assigned to a team and almost instantly, bonds were forged that would prove to last a lifetime. Though she was close with her whole team, no one was closer than her teammate Tensei Kaori who, despite becoming more serious later on, remained good friends with Miyoko since the day they met.
One particular incident is of particular significance in Miyoko's life: while her team was on a reconnaissance mission, they encountered enemy shinobi. While the enemy was defeated, the battle resulted in a rockslide that pretty much crushed Miyoko's left arm and leg. Their mission completed, the team hurried back to the hospital to treat their injured comrade. After extensive treatment, the doctors were able to save the broken limbs: barely. She progressed quickly through the ranks from Genin to Chuunin and finally Jounin. While A and S-rank missions are important to her, there's nothing she loves more than taking on Genin teams and training them. To her, there's no greater reward for being a Shinobi than seeing students of hers go on to do well. Currently she is without a team and as such is completing top-priority missions for a war-torn Konoha until the new Hokage – her very own former teammate – sees fit to assign her a new one.
