I don't even know if anyone else has seen this... but I'm making a post anyway. XD I really liked it. There's lots of things to say, but first I want to hear what everyone else thought.
Yaaayyy for X-men.
If it's "the last stand," though, then why have I heard there are plans for like... 3 more movies? XD

Hahaha. You might wanna put a spoiler warning on this thread. Granted, that any thread about a book or a movie is full of spoilers. XD So. SPOILERS! lol. I liked the movie. It was enjoyable. It wasn't the greatest: the script was the worst of the X-Men movies, and I want to destroy whoever wrote the script for making it so DUMB. XD There was alot of potential in this movie. Having said that, it lived up to MOST of it. Things I love about this movie: KITTY PRYDE. OMG. LOL. I heartz Ellen Page. She's... tasty. A little. XDXDXD Magneto also rawked hardcore. So much. Juggernaut rawked too. And Pyro was cool (he was a little too cocky to be as ultra-cool as Magneto but he was 'aiight). Things that annoy me about this movie: Magneto losing his powers Also, the fact that everything that was ever cool about the series was taken away. And everyone that DIED died... so... quickly! And just blah! I mean, Cyclops.. *kisskissDEATH*. Professor X *floatfloatDEATH*. Mystique *jumpsinwayPOWERSDEATH*. Beast *stabsMagnetowithneedlesPOWERSDEATH*. Also hated how Wolverine was the one to do away with Jean. Why couldn't they have stabbed her with the cure?! Instead of "I LOVE YOU*STABSTABDEATH*". That was just, retardation to the max. Phoenix was WTFPWNING left and right only to be knocked off by Sneaksneakstabstab Jackman? Yeesh. Even though it had its flaws, I still recommend this movie. It's good for a round of fun, that's for sure. If not to just see Ellen Page XDXDXD

Yeah... spoilers. That should be a given, though.
I liked Beast. Especially his entrance where he was hanging from the ceiling. ^^ Kelsey Grammar did an amazing job.
I hated Kitty. Hate hate hate hate hated. Not as much as I hate Rogue, but still. She basically had no personality whatsoever.. O__o It was like "hmm... angst... angst... no personality... angst." And the whole Bobby/Kitty thing was a little... bizarre. They didn't know what the heck they were doing, much less the audience. XD Yeah, so Bobby was just being a nice guy, but still. It seemed rather iffy to me.
I love Pyro. XD His new haircut was niiiice.
Um... Magneto is hardcore. The thing with Mystique kinda sucked. But I'm not too worried... since Magneto was sorta getting his powers back toward the end.
Did you see the extra scene after the credits, Twinnie?
I should've been sadder when Scott died... >_>
Jean annoooooyyyys me. XD When she lifted up the house and made it spin around I sang the theme from the Wizard of Oz where the house gets sucked into the tornado and the lady rides by on the bike. >_>
lol I wanna know why they didn't have Leech stand next to her. Hello. Requires almost no effort. Someone just toss him in her direction. XD World saved, the end.
I didn't think the Wolvy stabbing Jean bit was retarded... but I'm dramatic like that. And I also like the idea of Jean getting stabbed. 'CAUSE I'M A BAD PERSON, THAT'S WHY.
Umm....
Yeah. So. Basically Magneto was like the most awesome part of the whole movie, though. And what the hell? There was a severe lack of KURT. WHAT THE CRAP. I WANT MY CUTE GERMAN ALSO KNOWN IN THE MUNICH CIRCLES AS THE AMAZING NIGHTCRAWLER. XD
That's all I can think of right now. XD I need to see it again.

Beast was awesome. Undeniably. Spicey was saying that apparently he just, suited the part SOOO much. It was so good. XD
Yeah. Sure, maybe Kitty was a bit mleh. But she was fun to look at...XD!
I DIDN'T SEE THE EXTRA SCENE ZOMGV... lol, I went to see it with Nerida, and she wanted to go before the credits were done. >.< lol
Jean's just a sad lonely girl. She wants LOVE "ZOMG I LOVE YOU SCOTT KISSKISSDEATH" .... "ZOMG LOGAN YOU LOVE ME PLEASE KILL ME STABSTABDEATH". XD! And I thought the same thing with that Leech thing! XD Or it would've been cool if Rogue would've touched her or something. Like, big battle between the two (as long as they were touching each other). That would've been fun. But NOOOO, she had to go and cure herself. All because she feared her boyfriend was interested in that smexy Shadowcat hottie. XD
Lol.
Battle between Iceman and Pyro was pretty cool. "And you should've stayed in school." XD
Nightcrawler was cool. A bit sad about him. I guess two blue characters in a movie isn't cool, or something. XD
Magneto's my hero though. Yayayay. XD

Yesh. I actually saw this movie the day after it came out. Why I never posted here....I'm lazy. My apologies. U_U
I pretty much agree with what all of you guys have said so far. The final scene made me happy, though (had to find it on YouTube >,>).
Spoilers...ta da...
Right, anywho. I LOVED the Kitty V. Juggernaut thing. Little frail personality-less Kitty versus the awesome Aussie that is Juggie. And her powers worked lol. Some things that bothered me, though. Psylocke: Apparently, she was that purple haired chick that was part of the trio. She says a few lines at the beginning and uses her powers ONCE to stop the doctor from escaping, and even then it's just her shadow-invisibility trick. I mean, COME ON. One, she's not a villain. Two, showcase the little bugger some more! I wanted a psychic Kniiiiiiiiiife. ;_; Or at least some awesome ninja moves. I mean, honestly. This is an action flick. NINJA MOVES ARE COOL IN AN ACTION FLICK. ;_; And then her death? As Mazzy would say, *runrunSHATTERTOMILLIONPIECESDEATH* Come on. That just sucks. -.-;
Storm: I liked her being all strong and stuff, but after looking at her previous films, this seems a little out of character. She goes from this quiet little thing in the first film to "RAWR! FEAR MY WRATH HERRAWR!!!" in the third. I guess you could say she sorta transitioned between the two in the X2, but it still felt kinda...odd. Plus, that whole battle with Callisto thing? She went too easy on her -.-; Why not use wind? Or summon it from the sky where she can't dodge it? Or make it rain and watch her slip! @_@ Come on guys.
Rogue: WHY WAS SHE IN THIS MOVIE?! She served no purpose at all, save for us to go, "Awww. Poor thing." She was so important in the first movie, and was sorta useful in the second. In this one she's basically making a few cameos. >,> They coulda capitalized on that better. On a positive note, maybe they can add more angst for her in the next one, cause obviously the cure should run out for her if Magneto's (and hopefully Mystique's) powers return. Ha ha, SUCKS TO BE YOU BOBBY.
And now Mystique. When I saw her throughout most of it I was like, "AH!!! MY BABY!" Cause Mystique is one of my fav. comic characters of all time. And she was AWESOME in the first few minutes. Then she gets shot by a needle and it's like, "Okay, NEXT" Watiiiiiiiiiifffffffffffffffffffff?!
On a positive note, STORM THROWS THUNDERBOLTS YAY! lol I was a bit disappointed in the film, just cause it was so rushed. You could tell a severe difference in the directing. But it was a good round of fun, and if you don't care too much...I suppose it's not a big deal. U_U Maybe they can weasel their way out of it if they do a sequel..(and they are doing a Wolverine spin-off, I know, and maybe even a prequel with Xavier and Magneto, but still. U_U I need moooore...with better directing)

My first thought upon seeing this movie, honestly, was "what. the. crap." So, here we go. K-chan's view on the movie. Rantage first, things I liked come last. First, what's up with Rogue? They turned her into a coward! All she does the whole movie is go all emo and get the "cure" so she can kiss her boyfriend. o____O;;; (By the way, if all these mutants believe there's nothing to cure because there's nothing wrong with them, then WHY on EARTH do they keep calling it "the cure"? I mean, come on... you're making it sound like it's a good thing!) Scott's death, if death it was, was pretty lame. Like Maz said, "kisskissDEATH". Of course, they never actually showed him dying. He just kinda....spazzed... and then the scene cuts out. So there IS a possibility of him coming back in X4.... provided he keeps a spare pair of sunglasses in his pocket. I mean, how dumb would it be if he came back and was stumbling around blind all the time cause he couldn't open his eyes? XD "OMGIMBACKIDIDNTDIEJEANWHEREAREYOUUUUU *runs into a tree*" <WHAM> " " ....yeah. Anyways. I was mad beyond belief that they killed the Professor. I mean, hello! He's the Professor! You can't kill him! Stupid people. But, like with Scott, there is a possibility for him to come back - and it's much more likely than Scott's. Does anyone remember the video he showed his class? The case study in which the ethics of inserting a dying man's consciousness into the body of a braindead person and, in a sense, possessing that body so the dying man can live on. Now, consider the Professor's powers. Kinda makes you wonder, ne? Of course, the Professor has very strong morals and standards, but the Mutant world needs him, and he knows it. So it's possible. Jean killed his body, but is it really possible for one person to destroy another's mind and soul? ::insert dramatic fanfare here:: Kiri, I thought the same thing you did about Leech. It's like, "Uhm, HELLO!" He was right there the whole time, too. I was wondering why they didn't do that for Magneto, either. That whole scene was just......weird. Jean kills everyone, then she dies. The end. Okay, then. The whole makeout scene with Jean and Logan. That was just..... harg. An excuse to randomly put sex into the movie. I mean, it didn't even make any sense or serve any purpose. Then there's Mystique losing her powers.... gyarg. That was just dumb. And. Uhm. WHERE did Nightcrawler go? I was really looking forward to seeing him again! ;___; Okay, now the good things.... For a newly introduced character, I thought Kitty was really good. There was too much angst and dying going on for her to really have any character development, but she really showed her true colors when she faced off against Juggernaut. Storm kicked butt, too. She may have changed, but I think it has to do with what the Professor said to her: "I was hoping you might take my place someday." She knew she had to be strong to do that, so she rose to the occasion. That's what I think, anyways. And I actually think Wolverine killing Jean was a good thing. I mean, I'm sad she went all psycho and had to die, but think about it. What would have happened if they'd "cured" her? First, there's the chance of her powers coming back when the "cure" wears off and her going all psycho again. They'd have to keep her on a constant supply of the stuff for it to do any good. Second, with her powers gone, she'd regain her normal mind, and guess what? Now she has to live with the fact that she killed Scott and the Professor - if indeed they're truly dead at all - plus countless others. If you were in her place, which would you choose? Wolverine killed her out of mercy just as much as out of necessity, I think. Beast ROCKED. Wolverine rocked. Storm rocked. Mystique rocked (I LOVE the scene where she keeps changing into people when she's in the truck. "Ohhh, Mr. President! SHUT UP!"). Magneto rocked (as that one dude said, "You talk pretty big for a guy in a cape."). Kitty rocked. Storm kicked some major butt. Alot of people rocked, and everyone else just kinda sank to the bottom. I was really disappointed, but all in all, it wasn't too bad. If anything, it was great seeing all these characters in action again. I just hope X4 has more plot and less random underdone battle scenes.

I shouldn't read these when I'm tired. XD Or respond, for that matter....
I didn't see the extra scene, but I saw it on youtube as well... and people told me about it. Apparently K-sama didn't see it, either. ^_^; Although you basically hit on what it was about, dear K-sama....
XD NO TALKIN BAD ABOUT BOBBY, OMG. I LOVE BOBBY. Okay, love is a strong word....
You guys are so much more harsh than I am. ^^;; But then, I'm usually just happy whenever Sir Ian McKellen is anywhere. O__O And also... I dunno. I'm not as fussy or critical as most, it would seem. Especially not as critical as K-sama, as evidenced by RENT. XD (Not saying this is a bad thing, K-chan ^^; )
... unlike you guys, I couldn't care less when Scott died. XD BECAUSE I'M A BAD PERSON. Also the makeouts with Logan and Jean ... I just sorta laughed. Jean's like "I'm a bad girl" and Logan's confused.
Poor Logan. The only way he can get Jean is if it's Mystique in disguise or if she kills her husband and goes crazy. Sucks to be him even more than it sucks to be Bobby ....
I guess I disliked Kitty so much 'cause what I knew of her was that she was a really upbeat character... not such a lamer. I dunno. You know someone's too emo when I complain about it ....
...I could smell the adamantium in your veins from a mile away? D:
*goes to sleep*

...you all certainly like inventing new words to describe various forms of mutant death now, don'tcha?
lol
SPOILERS
anybody hang out after the credits?
Good ol' Jean Luc Xavier isn't as dead as we've been lead to believe...and tying in with some comic book continuity too...neat ^^

Meh it was a good movie. Disregarding all that is the world of comics. Though we should think that anyways. The directors... the first thing out of their mouths is that they wanted a "stand alone" X-men movie. No comic strings attached. Just something the normal public would enjoy. I actually think that the last one was they best of the three. The second one was lame. Though just the thought of Phoenix should have taken up a three hour movie. But apparently Jean has multiple personalities. Or turrets i don't know. Now on to the whole Logan and Jean thing. Thats partially true. Jean has always kind of had a thing for her. But it was never mutual. (Dont quote me on these things lol)
Beast was cool, not enough of his fighting prowess though. Collosus? I mean he is a way cool character, but we see... what three seconds of this guy? If my memory serves me right, he and kitty had somthing going on there. eh? eh? Iceman. Yeah pretty great when he went all icey and headbutted pyro. lol Cry more noob! Yet again, leave it to the movies to throw in some obscure people. like the fast chick who could sense mutant powers? Whats her name? Fastradar girl?
They should end the movies at this. No more movies would be nice. the only thing they could throw in as a really bad guy? Apocalypse. But man... if there would be any introduction to who he is... thats a movie by itself. and six more to finish any type of storyline.
Well is spent too much time on this post.

First off: LOL. Yeah. I love Collosus. ;__; I wish he was cooler in the movie. Also I missed his accent. The accent he had in the comics would have been SO hawt. "Fastradar" girl was actually Callisto. Not sure her redesign was all that fantabulous, but it was decently cool. And way better than Arclight. Omgwtf? Silly Jean and her DID. I honestly know absolutely nothing about the Phoenix stuff, but eh. She's silly. And needed to die. AND IF THEY BRING HER BACK (again) THEY'LL BE SORRY 'CAUSE I'LL KILL THEM. >_> Edit: Everyone may have figured this out by now, but Nightcrawler wasn't in the movie because Alan Cummings didn't want to go through the hours of makeup for as short of a role as he was going to have. Whiny little punk-@$$ #$*%@ that he is.

i dont blame him for not wanting too. lol. Though I only wish that he was more famous, then they would have given him more stuff in the movie. Thats that only reason why Storm (I didnt want to butcher her name lol) is there, she wasnt going to come back due to the lack of major part... Plus i can imagine what Alan had to go through... I mean three fingers and three toes? BLUE? Man thats alot. lol.

Yeah, yeah. I just feel slighted 'cause I was really looking forward to Nightcrawler and then there I was sort of... Nightcrawler... less. XD *stops doing Hercules-esque quotes* Oh yeah, this is for K-sama: The extra scene. Sorry, the quality is REALLY bad, but I suppose that can't be helped. ;
