I've seen it happen at Youth. They shattered it.... it wasn't my favorite though.... it was just a random CD.

Mind you...in doing that I made a new favourite CD. And as I was driving home after a good days work guess what came on. Family...the One piece song. It just made me want to get home to you guys...all of my Konoha family...It just put a smile on my face...that song...it just is you guys...and I loved hearing it, and being reminded of my home away from home.

Oh my. I'm on like the third copy of two of my Matchbox 20 CDs. After about 6 months, my version of "Yourself or Someone Like You" just refused to play. Then I went through the same thing with "Mad Season." "More Than You Think You Are" is the only one that has survived. XD
Joe Satriani is awesome. I really don't know what else to say about him. I didn't get much sleep over the weekend, so maybe I'll have a better idea after I get a little. XD

Yeah...you sleep too little...FAR to little. As for Matchbox 20, its a cool band eh...although I kinda get the feeling they went more commercial with their later songs...

At the moment I'm extremely irritated that Rob Thomas has gone solo. Every time he does it I want to TEAR OUT HIS INTESTINES! I don't feel like they've gone too commercial with their music. It's just the same MB20 sound with the same emotive lyrics as always. And by "emotive" I mean "invoking emotion," not emo. "Kody" is probably my favorite song by them. And I've been trying to get better about the sleeping thing....

Yes. The sleep again. Anyways. I think that artists sometimes lose who they are when they go solo...I kinda think that Gwen Stefani kinda did. I really liked her in No doubt, they had great songs...such variety. What do you guys think?

Gwen Stefani amuses me because of her total obsession with all things Harajuku. The only one of her new songs that I've heard that DOESN'T involve Japan or Harajuku in some way is Hollaback Girl. Some of the lyrics from her songs include:
"Those Harajuku girls, man you've got some wicked style" (or something like that anyways), and.... "Come together all over the world, from the 'hoods of Japan - Harajuku girls!"
I dunno about you, but I wasn't even aware that Japan HAD 'hoods. By the way, I don't remember which songs of hers these are from. She also has two Harajuku girls whom she pays to follow her around everywhere and do her bidding. That'd be a really weird job but I bet it pays well.

I agree about her now just being a trend setter. I was never big fan of No Doubt, but... *shrug*

Actually, I thought it was four of them. That's where she got the idea for the name of her next album from: Love, Angel, Music, Baby. Or something. I forget.
I have to say I enjoyed LAMB. I'm more of a beef man myself... but this time 'round I quite enjoyed my LAMB... lol. At least, most songs off it. The first half of the album's pretty cool. The second half isn't as memorable, but still enjoyable.
That is to say, if you enjoy that sorta music... or you know, don't mind the diversity of it. It's cool.
Hollaback Girl was just... too funny to the point where it was almost sad. XD
