Because we have so many members who have absolutely no posts whatsoever, I am beginning to delete accounts. I recently sent out an email to every single member with no posts inviting them back, and one came up with an invalid address. This brings up an important thought, one you would think to be a no-brainer.
If you register with an invalid email address, you CAN NOT access your account on the forums.
Proboards has a system in which each member is sent an activation key, a code that the user must enter upon activating their account before they are able to log in. Gone are the days in which an admin resetting your password would give you access to your account. Staff members DO NOT have access to this Activation Key! The only ones who do have access are the users themselves, who recieve it via email.
When I sent out this email, some of them came back - the accounts were invalid. And so, I regret to announce the deletion of the first of our inactive users. I'm putting a list in this post, and will edit to update the list as it grows. Hopefully, though, I won't have to come back here very much.
The List of Deleted Accounts - If you registered one of these accounts and would like to re-register, post in my Office about it. Or just re-register with an email account that works.
