It's been mentioned to me that it's too easy to progress through the ranks here on Konoha, and recommended that I make it more of a challenge. I think this is a good idea, so if you're suddenly demoted, that's why - it's nothing personal, just to make "leveling up" mean something more than it already does.

Levels are the different ranks that display under members' usernames. It changes as you post more.

It's difficult to give one answer for that, as there are multiple uses for a ranking system - many of them difficult to put into words. Look around the forums and see if you can figure it out for yourself.
