I don't know whether this should've been posted under the 'Kinda makes you wonder' thread, but I thought it was a weird sort of point that never really got mentioned.
Well, I'm mentioning it now.
I was listening to Nakushita Kobata the other day (the full version is really catchy, sorta reminiscent of The Pillows I think) and I remembered the Naruto anime closing that carried the same song.
It was all dark, yet psychidelic with its colourful shooting stars and deep hued water. Pretty good for evoking feelings of hope after loss.
Now, in the closing, little scribbly shooting stars are shown a few times, then, Sakura and Naruto are pictured in a little boat together when Sakura raises something glowing cupped in her hands...to her face.
Now I can't be 100% sure, but it seriously looks like she's swallowing that little scribbly shooting star thing. 0.o
Now, I'm no dietician...or doctortician...or any other -tian that I can think of, but I'm pretty sure eating shooting stars isn't good for you. Even if its to counter some kind of depression.
...does...anybody else think this little and probably insignificant thing is weird too?

Wow... I never actually watched the ending video, just listened to the song. But now that I've watched it... wow...
Sakura... you need to get over Sasuke already. Seriously...
I would hafta agree with yah man, whatever those things are that are falling from the sky, I dunno if they're shooting stars, seeing as ow're they're more-so floating down. But they can't be safe to ingest... I mean... c'mon...
And counter-question for YOU! What the heck kind of hand cupping technique is that? That is probobly the WORST attempt to cup your hands to hold water that I've ever seen. No water would stay in there!
See, my theory is that those little floating gems are nuclear bi-product... possibly some nuclear infested dandelions? You know how annoying those can be normally... but now, just as some toxic waste, and BLAMO!! THey're all glowy and fun!
...but I still don't think they're safe to eat... silly Sakura. And you call yourself a medical ninja... fmeh!

She can't help herself I bet.
She's upset and vulnerable, and those shiney things are addictive and make her feel like she's not alone for a while...
...because they're like DRUGS!!!
...and yeah, hand cupping = no water.

But perhaps hand cupping = shiny squiggly things?
Regardless, it's a really cool song. I might record myself singing it sometime....

Love the song
but don't eat falling stars.
They cause stomach ache and spontaneous combustion

Yeah. I think Sakura felt the effects of eating that thing. Remember the second Parade animation? She's dreaming about shiny leaves that fly around and morph into a humanoid shape *cough*SASUKE*coughcough* and she wakes up in a spaz.
Coincidence? I think not.

Didn't we discuss that song as well?
It's totally not Sasuke she sees...it's her other one true love.
But, of course, nobody knows who that is.
it could be any of the characters...

True. But knowing Saukura, I wouldn't be surprised.
Either way, consumption of shooting stars = trippy glowing leaf dreams?

lol
If so, I gotta eat me some shooting stars more often.
Sakura wakes up at the end of that song:
"Was that...a dream?"
pauses
"D-did I see...Shino? Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have eaten that shooting star before bed."

XDXD Oh my. So the shiny leaves at the end of her dream were actually fireflies on steroids?

Maybe she's gotten herself sorted out. In the Pinocchio animation it looked like she was out getting some much-needed fresh air.
