I dunno. It actually seems to be legit here. Cos Itachi kinda...did the whole poke thing. If he didn't do that, i.e. just flopped over, I wouldn't believe it, but in this case...I think it's finally over. It's about d**n time... ... yes, screw you proboards, I said d**n. d**n d**n d**n. Censor me all you like >_>. Although it was a bit daft there. "With the mirror and the sword. Itachi is invincible" Herg! Blah. . Mmm k. Still. I think it's actually over. Finally!

I think at long last it's over too. I'd say it has two or three more chapters in it... 'cos that's the way Kishimoto works... but I'd say we're pretty much looking at the end of the fight.
At last.
It's kinda interesting to note that Susanoo's true form is a tengu. (and yes, I'm aware that the initial Uchiha/Tengu storyline has been proven incorrect)
Wonder what Sasuke's gon' do now... XD

I wondered about that snake too...but I didn't think of it in the way that it is Orochimaru...but now that you mention it, that's probably exactly what he was insinuating.

I actually kinda hope that Orochimaru didn't escape.
To be honest, I kinda hope that, well, Orochimaru's dead for good. Bringing him back to life just gives the story more reason to continue -- which isn't a good thing when it's on such a roll.
I'm hoping the story goes somewhat like this..
Sasuke: ...that's it..? He.... he's, dead? My quest.... is complete? *Sasuke cries tears of joy, and returns to Konoha* Naruto: Sasuke, you're back! Sasuke: Yeah... now that Itachi's dead, I was thinking about leaving the series. I'll go swap fashion tips with Jin Kazama.... maybe see if I can audition for a part in Metal Gear Solid 4. Naruto: WHAAAAT?! Sasuke: Yeah. There's a whole big world of other anime, manga and video games out there. A wider otaku fanbase than just Shonen Jump readers. Naruto: ...can I come too? Sasuke: Sure, why not? Naruto: OMG FUN TIMES, BELIEVE IT Sasuke: Come on, let's leave this weakling story to rot.

lol. I kinda do agree really. The series has gone on for too... far too long. Kinda reminds me of a thread I saw a long time ago saying something along the lines of: Naruto: DBZ with ninjas? Which is kinda seeming true really. Super sayajin (curse seals, eye techniques (particularly with the levels of Sharingan e.g. Mangekyou), summons etc). And the length of the series is not helping this debate. Don't get me wrong, I liked DBZ. I think most people did...you just need to have the boxed set to be able to tolerate the extended periods of fighting (like the classic Namek '5 minutes' argument). But, waiting for one episode a week. To spend that time reading a fight that is STILL going on, about someone who ISN'T EVEN THE MAIN CHARACTER (Albeit a decent story fight), gets very tedious.

i would be a great series if they would just compact all the content together in the anime aswell but more anime and manga means more money

Hmm. This is true. More anime+more manga=more money Finished story+more anime=Ruined story Ruined story=Disgruntled fans Disgruntled fans=less willing to continue with the story Disgruntled fans*0.15= Percentage of fans that as a result of ruined story will stop reading Less fans+more anime=same amount of money+ruined story Catch my drift? XD They refuse to stop these things because they think it'll generate more money. The issue is that they don't know when to call it quits. Thus begins the Sequel Dilemma. LONG LIVE COWBOY BEBOP. Edit: ...oh yeah. Um. Chapter 393 was written by Masashi Kishimoto. There. I'm on topic.

lol Maz. You're a dork. I think proboards will censor that, but tough. lol. But that brings me back to the other arguement eh? About DBZ. Well, we're making money...let's make another not a saga, but a series. Behold! DBZ GT! *shudder* Hope that doesn't happen. Drawing parallels again...does that mean Shippuden is DBZ (Assuming the first series was Dragonball).
No...must think happy thoughts. More on the Orochimaru thing though. I wonder...if that snake slithering away was more a symbolic representation of Sasuke shedding his snake skin, to become the hawk (again). That too is viable.

......holy crap. Dude, that is... probably the best thing I've heard in a long time. About the snake thing, I mean. That would actually be very cool, if the snake slithering away was symbolic of Sasuke shedding his snake skin. To be honest, I'm trying to disprove it in my mind because I'm getting my hopes up and I'd hate to be let down. XD But such an act may very well be what is required to bring the series back on track. I guess if one thinks about it... Sasuke only took on Orochimaru's power to best Itachi. And now that Itachi's defeated, what need would Sasuke have for this supposed snake skin? Like I said, I'd hate to get my hopes up.... but I'm really hoping that's the case. Kudos, dude. XD Concerning Dragonball Z... the Frieza saga was supposed to be the end of the series, with Goku dying on Namek. But then, for money's sake, they extended it further to the end of the Android Saga, where Goku (having been blown up by Cell) was supposed to be dead, and he even LEFT the story when he went off to the Afterlife. Once again, for money's sake, they extended the story to include the Buu Saga. Then they finally ended Dragonball Z.... only to once again, for money's sake, create Dragonball GT, as you say. I have little problem with Dragonball Z. DBZ was actually really cool, for it's time. It's DBGT, the series that didn't have author Akira Toriyama at the head of the story, that I have qualms with. So I'll be worried when Naruto GT comes out. XD

You know what. I'm creating a thread about this now. XDXD (The DBZ/Naruto thing) and saving this one for on-topic discussions XD.
