oh wait..*snips that off* There we go. Chapter 405 Ho SNAP NO SAUCE-KE!! *does a dance. a jiggy, happy dance* A nice chapter, though. You get to see a few reactions to the death of Jiraiya, and frankly it was handled very well, I think. This chapter really showcases just how much of a father-figure Jiraiya had become for Naruto. Pretty touching. *sniffle* I miss Jiraiya

I didn't like it actually... lol.
Straight from the first page. I think maybe Sorien's onto something... the chapters are really lazily drawn. It seriously looks like he wanted to put no effort into it. haha.
I also was kinda hoping for a more mature Naruto, since over the last few chapters he's sorta felt like he's grown up. Now he's just sad and irrational - heart over head, which was the main reason I never liked Naruto as a character.
Plus, the story didn't even MOVE. Everybody just cried for a chapter. A WHOLE SEVENTEEN PAGES of everyone crying. WTF.
Oh well. At least they didn't just stand there and grunt... *glares at Sasuke/Madara conversation*

I liked it. I mean, come on, you can at least devote a chapter to people grieving about him, he did for Sarutobi.

If he can devote an entire chapter to Tobi's mask and Sasuke's angry face, Kishimoto can do anything.
STOP CRYING AND MAKE IT INTERESTING, STUPID MANS.

By which point, nobody'll actually care about what the code is, or what the identity of Pain is... or whatever's relevant. haha.

I actually liked this chapter. It may not have moved the story much, but it did add some depth to some of the characters, which I always enjoy. Showing more of Naruto's relationship with Jiraiya, for example, as well as how the great Ero-Sennin thought so highly of his apprentice - and, of course, Tsunade's true feelings (which everyone knew was the case anyways, but it's still nice to see it in ink).
All in all, it was a sad chapter, but good.
