She smiled and edged over to have a seat next to Akina. Pulling in her ankles so she was sitting indian-style, she leaned forward slightly and gave a small yawn. Rubbing one eye, she gave a look around at the others gathered.
"So... how is everyone this morning?"

Akina gestured to her empty bowl before eyeing the Miso ravenously. Looking back to Nadameru, she spoke. "Need I say more?" she asked with a wink.

Sorien barely contained his laugh, as he saw a young lad nearly fall out of the tree he was in. He hadn't spoken that loud, but it appeared as if to the lad, he had shouted. He didn't recognise him as one of the konoha nin, however given that there were ANBU about, and after the previous nights events, he knew they'd take no risks, so his mind was put to ease.
He considered saying something to the young lad, however, he lacked something to say, so he turned back to Masato, on the ground below.

Kohana was almost too busy guzzling down her first bowl of miso to realize that her sensei had just joined them for breakfast. Bringing the dish away from her mouth for a moment, she greeted her.
"Good morning, Nada-sensei!" she chimed. "Did you have a nice sleep?"
Ryuji quickly handed Nadameru a bowl of steaming hot rice and a pair of chopsticks. "Enjoy! You're welcome to have seconds if that's not enough!"

"It's delicious!" Akina added, gesturing with her empty bowl. "Is there any Miso left, Ryuji?" she asked hungrily.

It's delicious! Ryuji heard Akina comment. Is there any Miso left, Ryuji?
A big, dumb smile spread across his face as he eagerly replied. "Thank you very much, Akina-chan! I'm glad you like it! Of course there's some left! If we run out, I can just make some more, no need to worry," he said, taking her bowl and quickly refilling it with more miso. He smiled as he handed her bowl back to her, pleased with himself that she had enjoyed his cooking so much.

Akina grinned. "Speaking of which," she asked between mouthfuls of that wonderful Miso, "how did you make this? I didn't see any cookfire..."

Speaking of which Akina inquired between mouthfuls of that wonderful Miso, how did you make this? I didn't see any cookfire...
Ryuji chuckled as he pulled another packet of miso mix from his supplies. "Like this..." he said, stirring up the mix in the pot. He cupped the saucepan in his hands and concentrated. After a few moments, the bottom of the pot began to slightly glow, and steam rose from the top as the soup began to simmer. Ryuji quilckly set the pot down onto the dirt. "I made it in my hands! What do you think of that snazzy trick, Akina-chan?"

Akina laughed. "Very convenient for travel," she commented. "No campfire makes it easier to hide your presence, yes?" She held out her now empty bowl. "Seconds?"

Very convenient for travel Akina commented. No campfire makes it easier to hide your presence, yes? Seconds?
Secretly, Ryuji hadn't thought of his new-found cooking technique as a way to hide his presence. He only thought of using that old training technique as a totally awesome way to impress Akina, but he couldn't let her know that, so he just smiled and nodded and refilled her bowl. "Be careful, it's hot!" he cautioned.
"Can I have seconds, too?" Kohana chimed in, holding her bowl out for Ryuji to fill. As he did so, someone piped up from behind them.
"Save some for me, too, Fireball!" It was Aijou. He hobbled over sleepily, rubbing his eyes, and yawning, and plopped down next to his sister. "Good morning, Kohana!" he said, giving her a soft pat on the back. "Good morning everyone!"
Ryuji happily passed Aijou a bowl of rice and a pair of chopsticks.

Akina looked up from her Miso - she was actually taking her time eating this serving - when she heard Aijou's voice. One look at him had her remembering how she had felt not too long ago. "Morning, Aijou," she said to him as she reached into her pouch for a small packet of something, calling "Catch!" as she tossed it to him.
"It's an energy booster," she explained. "Vitamins and such for a good pick-me-up without the downsides of caffeine or sugar. I don't have much, but you seem like you need it. Just don't mix it into your food," she warned, "or it'll ruin the taste. It's best with water after you've gotten something into your stomach."

Morning, Aijou! He heard Akina say, Catch!
He caught the small packet she had just tossed his way, It's an energy booster she explained. Vitamins and such for a good pick-me-up without the downsides of caffeine or sugar. I don't have much, but you seem like you need it. Just don't mix it into your food or it'll ruin the taste. It's best with water after you've gotten something into your stomach.
Aijou smiled, brushing his hair back out of his sleepy eyes. "I do need it, very much so. I appreciate it. Thanks very much, Akina-san!"

Akina nooded with a smile. "You're very welcome," she answered happily. Holding her bowl out for thirds, she turned her doctor's eye towards Ryuji. "And how are you doing?" she asked. He seemed to be fine, but you could never tell with ANBU. "Those burns were pretty nasty, after all..."

Kozuki lightly pushed her way through the crowd of shinobi, somehow managing to avoid bumping into nearly everybody. The crowd was stirring with excited chatter about the Hokage's recent speech. As she walked, Kozuki glanced up at the star-filled sky. There wasn't a single cloud in the sky, and the stars and moonlight pierced the sky like fire. It was a calm night. It was hard to believe such events had happened so recently. After several minutes of searching, Kozuki caught a glimpse of Yukio out of the corner of her eye. She jumped slightly in the air to see that none of the three seemed to be hurt. That's a relief... I knew those three were smart.Kozuki quickly collected herself, beaming quite broadly. She strode up to her team, slapping Mokoto over the back. "Evening you three!! Sorry for being so late... I got lost amongst the stars..." She laughed at the mixed expressions on her teams faces as she spoke. "Now, how about we find somewhere to sleep for the night, and you three can tell me about your heroic exploits of you each saved this caravan from certain doom and destruction!!" She quickly turned on her heels and strutted off towards the edge of the camp. Eyeing the surrounding area for a suitable spot, she grinned. "This'll do nicely" she muttered to herself. SHe pointed to a spot just outside the ring of tents. "Alrighty you three, set up camp around here..." she said eyeing the area again. Kozuki formed a flurry of handseals, and after focusing a burst of chakra to her hands called out, "Douton - Tsuchi Uchi no Jutsu!" In moments, a small house literally burst forth from the ground. It was easily big enough to accomodate someone comfortably, despite the fact that it was solid stone. She glaned over to her team, and just laughed. "I'll see you thee in the morning... and get some sleep." With that, she walked into the building. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Iro awoke in the morning, light splashing across his face. As he sat up, his muscles twinged and ached. His entire body was on fire, but he knew that was just part of the healing process. Why does the healing seem worse than the actual injuries themselves...After a minute, Iro stumbled to his feet, molding just enough chakra to make out the basic layout of the camp around him. From a slight distance away, Iro could hear the happy voices of Kohana and her brother... and several others. He slid into his shirt, not bothering to properly tie the front closed, seeing as how the bandages covered most everything anyways. "Ohayo..." Iro mumbled as he approached the group. He forced a smile to his face. "Something smells delicious here... do you think I could join you all?"

Nadameru nodded in response to Kohana before accepting the bowl of miso from Ryuji. She smiled slightly and thanked him. For a while she ate silently, slipping in and out of thought. The conversation went on around her as she tipped her bowl to drain the last of her miso. Sighing softly, she smiled. That had been just what she had needed.
"Ohayo..." a familiar voice said. "Something smells delicious here... do you think I could join you all?"
The jounin looked up. "Iro-kun... ohayo. How are you feeling this morning?"
