"The Basingstoke Tavern" Sorien read outloud. He lowered the instructions from his field of view. What replaced it, was a large title of a building, not surprisingly, it read 'The Basingstoke Tavern'. "Well, guess this is it" Sorien pondered to himself.
He made his way inside, and asked a short, blonde haired lady, with glasses and a little too much make-up on at reception where he was to stay. She replied in a voice that resembled a cat being bathed. "Ahh so you're from the Village of Konoha Honey?" Sorien mentally screamed, both at her voice, and word choice. Extrovertly, he answered politely "Yes, thats correct". "Sounds nice."
She walked Sorien down a hall and to his room without further conversation. She motioned her arm at a door. "This will be your room for the next few nights. Enjoy your stay". Sorien secretly overjoyed at being rid of her presence, said a quick thank you, and made his way into the room.

"Mmmm...so...tired..." Yaku didn't quite realize that he had been muttering to himself, and rather loudly at that for a good half of the last hour that had just slowly ticked it's way passed him. Dark, ebony eyes bleary from his inner exhaustion, he didn't even seem to quite notice the many odd glances that were being cast his way from the people that passed him in the street, and it was only when he walked head-on with a passing couple did he snap moreso to his senses, quite irritable with them as he didn't quite realize why they had to be so rude and shot them a complimentary scowl in return.
Turning around he only forgot about them as he noticed Hiromi, who had been walking a few paces ahead of him, stopp before a dimly lit entryway, sniffing the front post before glancing up at Yaku, and with a wag of her tail gave a happy yip. Rubbing his sore eyes with the back of his hands, Yaky glanced questioningly at the door, but before he had a chance to ask his companian what exactly it was she had found, the small black pup had bounded inside.
Left with no other choice but to follow after, Yaku hesitantly stepped inside the door. Quickly he paused, blinking against the slightly brighter light and was just about to turn back when a familiar scent reached his nose. Blinking he glanced around, yet as he saw no one though ( for the front desk seemed to have been all but abandoned for the time being ), began to follow after Hiromi down the hall, who seemed to know exactly where she was going.

After selecting a bunk, and promptly putting his gear on top of it as a declaration of ownership, he heard anothers footsteps out in the foyer. Poking his head out the door, he watched the receptionist return to the front. Who he also saw made him grin. A bleary eyed Yaku being lead by his faithful companion entered the Tavern. Feeling his spirits rising, he poked his head back in the door, and waited for that horrible voice to return to show Yaku where to go.
He started searching through his gear for warmer clothing, as it was going to be a crisp night with the sun down. Grin spreading ear to ear thinking of the events to happen tonight.

Yaku had paused slightly, a little uncomfortable with no one being around, although he was slightly curious to simply follow his nose to that familiar scent and Hiromi was nudging him on the anle to do so. "Shhh, leave me alone." he muttered to the small, black pup, pulling his foot away slightly, and it was just then a rather uncomfortable smell...the sticky, fake scent of make-up hit him and he drew back. But it was just then he noticed the woman who had come down the hall. "Uh...hi," he said, a little unsure of himself.
"Village of Konoha?" she asked promptly, and Yaku blinked before nodding dumbly. "I thought so," she continued, "I just led another one of you in here. Follow me."
Yaku exchanged glances with Hiromi, but seeing as he didn't really have much of a choice, followed after the woman down the hall.
"Over in there sweetie."

"Over in there sweetie." Sorien heard the voice say. Every single word that came out of her mouth grinded at his ears like a teacher's squeaky chalk on a blackboard.
Sorien held his breath awaiting his comrade. Yaku entered the room. Soriens enthusiasm dropped immediately when he saw the look on Yaku's face. He would have looked more awake had he been sleep-walking.
"Hey man." Sorien said softly, not wanting to jolt the young Inuzuka. "I'm about to hit the festival, you look like you could use a few Z's though. So ahh... I'll catch you later eh?"
He awaited Yakus reply, not wanting to be rude, before he'd make his way out the door.

As Yaku sleepily stepped into the room, he leaned up against the wall, eyes closing as he was hardly even ware of Sorien's voice or scent. Only a sharp, yet friendly nip on his ear from his canine friend jolted him awake long enough to blink his bleary eyes, catching in the slightly smudged vision of Sorien. He quickly reached up to wipe away the tears of sleep.
"Oh, hey," he said as he quickly tried to regain his balance and hide away the fact he'd nearly began to dozing standing up. "What? Oh...uh, sure, I guess I'll stay here." he said as he glanced around the room, obviously still a bit unsure about the whole business, and there was a slight twinge of disappointment to his voice.
