Okay, guys. Here it is: the thread hijacking rule. I've noticed alot of this going on, intentional or not, but it's prevented some good story ideas from being put into action. The rule is this:
Planning threads are to remain true to the original idea the thread was created for. Discussions about your jutsu, or other story ideas, belong in their OWN THREADS. Create a separate thread and don't take over someone else's.
If you do "hijack" a thread, intentionally or otherwise, the offending post - and any that follow its misdirection - very well may be deleted by any passing staff member that has the appropriate powers on these boards. Thank you all for your cooperation. The IF is a great thing, and I want to see it continue to grow. ^_^

Is it hijacking if you're commenting or offering an opinion on something your character wouldn't necessarily be involved in? Staying true to the characters involved and the situation and all that, I mean....

As long as it stays to the topic of the thread, it doesn't matter if your character is involved ICly or not.
