I'm posting this here because it's a great resource for all future IFing that involves inns. Here's a great site describing the Traditional Japanese Hotel:

I linked to the portion that begins the step-by-step virtual tour of a Ryokan, but have a browse around. The site is really informing and pleasant to read. ^__^
In the case of the Crescent Moon Inn I wrote about in the "ROOMIES!!!" thread, I decided to create a blend of traditional Japanese hotels and the Western-style hotels many of us are more familiar with, since the primary guests are Shinobi and the hotel staff would probably have to scramble as it is, what with all the Konoha guests staying everywhere.
