Name: Homura Nadameru ("soothing flame," something like that)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Rank: Jounin
Height: 5'7"
Appearance: In spite of her skill as a shinobi, Nada would certainly not be considered to have an "imposing presence." Thin and slightly pale, with her delicate, graceful frame she looks far too fragile to be in the heat off battle. Fragile, however, she is not. Though her build is not suited for taijutsu, her lean figure contains a strength belied by her dainty appearance. Her honey-blonde hair is usually pulled back from her face in two loose odango-type pigtails. Like the others of her clan, she has red-orange eyes smattered with yellow that always seem to be burning with some inner flame. Choosing to wear black, fishnet, spikes, and high-heeled boots when not dressed in her official jounin garb, she also likes to accentuate her eyes with black eyeliner and dark eyeshadow.
Personality: Quiet, withdrawn, and introspective to a fault, Nada has a very difficult time getting close to others. She has a tendency to keep her feelings inside rather than sharing them with anyone. When in the company of others, she prefers to listen rather than talk, although this changes depending on how close she is to her companions. She does her very best to be patient with even the most frustrating of circumstances, though sometimes her emotions get in the way. Only on rare occasions does she become angry enough to raise her voice. Since the death of her mother she has become a very serious, somber person. And though she complains about having to look after her father, she has a caring personality and likes to watch over and do nice things for others.
Likes: Napping, cooking, reading, bad jokes
Dislikes: Chaos, loud noises, bullies
Family:
Father: Homura Taro
Mother: Homura Hotaru [deceased]
Other Relatives:
Assaku Karai (uncle)
Homura Kisen (aunt)
Assaku Rune (cousin)
History: The child of two skilled fire-nin, great things were always expected of Nadameru. As a child during the war, she struggled with her parents often being away on missions. In this way she became very self-sufficient, but it is also to blame for her difficulty interacting with others. She grew used to being alone, and therefore did not seek out the companionship of others, even during her school days.
During her academy days, though she excelled in her studies, she kept to herself for the most part, only making friends with one boy named Buyo Keitaro. At twelve she was placed on a three-man genin team with Keitaro and another kunoichi by the name of Ichimu Kameko. Under the leadership of Tensei Kaori the three trained and went on many missions, but disaster struck the team. One particular mission went awry, and Kameko was separated from her team and, for all they knew, killed. Partly blaming herself for this tragedy, Nada all but closed herself off emotionally and buried herself in her training, becoming a chuunin at age fifteen and a jounin at seventeen. Though she thought herself unprepared for the task, she was assigned her first three-man genin team shortly after.
