She wears her Sound Village forehead protector around her forehead.

Personality: Kotone is intelligent, quick-thinking and creative. She loves finding new ways to improve herself both as a ninja and as a member of the Sound Village. Family:
~Father: Yonemura Masashi
~Mother: Yonemura Kazue
~Siblings: Takumi (24 – Brother)
~Other: Yonemura Kiku (85 – Grandmother)
History:
Kotone grew up in a fairly average shinobi family. She entered the Academy at the age of 5 along with the rest of her friends. She was an exceptionally intelligent child and a quick learner, picking up on the lessons in almost nothing flat. She passed all of her written and physical exams with flying colors, and earned the privilege to graduate two years early -with her older brother, Takumi- at the age of 10. Her parents were of course very proud of their little girl and her wonderful accomplishment, and Takumi was, too...Until the day he found out that he would be on the same genin team as his little sister. As much as he loved her, he dreaded the thought of having to be around her nearly 24/7. Fortunately, that opinion changed as they began training together and going on missions as a team. They became considerably close over the next several years as they continued to train together and learn from each other's successes and failures.
At the age of 11, Kotone began to formulate and create her own unique wire-based techniques, all of which reflected her extensive knowledge of pitches and frequencies. She also began to develop a wire-based fighting style, using a wide assortment of wires as weapons.
She was promoted to Chuunin at the age of 12, and continued to try and perfect her techniques and fighting style. She remained a Chuunin until she turned 18, and then decided to join the ANBU Corps, although that was short-lived. Only a year later, at the age of 19, she quit the ANBU and resumed duties as a normal Jounin. Recently, she decided to begin taking on genin teams.
Outside of her life as a shinobi, Kotone is a musician experienced in koto playing. At a very young age, she began showing interest in the instrument after listening to her grandmother play. As she grew, she began to take lessons from her grandmother and by the age of 14, she began performing for the village during festivals and other ceremonies, and today is known as one of the best koto players in the Sound Village. Her goal is to become well-known throughout other villages in other countries as well.
