Clan: Tensei
Age: 20
Rank: Chuunin
Birthday: April 29
Blood Type: O+
Chakra Affinity: Wind
About the Triplets as a Whole: These triplets are known amongst their Tensei kin as being a little out-there in terms of musical taste and fashion. They prefer to perform Hip-Hop/R&B-type music, though they do perform other styles as well. All three are tall, standing at identical heights of 5'11”, and are remarkably close to being considered identical despite there being only one female sibling. They share the same deep brown eyes and thick, silky dark brown hair, though each Triplet chooses to style his or hair differently. They have the usual fair (but not pale) coloration, graceful build, and intriguing eyes of their clan, though the male twins are decidedly muscular (Hideko instead chooses to simply keep a toned, fit shape instead of becoming all-out “muscular”). Their teamwork has always been top-notch, and together they form a tightly-interlocked team that functions as one complete unit. Their jutsu are the classic Tensei-style, using music to create genjutsu or combining jutsu to create a larger effect. These three, of course, combine their chakra and jutsu into one, providing some very effective combinations.
The Triplets are listed below in order of birth, from the first-born to the third-born.
Name: Tensei Daichi (“Great First Son”)
Gender: Male
Musical Specialty: Drums, “Beatboxing” (informally)
Appearance: Daichi is a carefree individual, and that shows in his appearance. His laughing brown eyes are usually squinting and his hair nearly reaches his shoulders. For clothing he wears a tight white tank top, baggy khaki pants with a studded belt, and black ninja sandals. The cargo pockets in his pants serve the purpose of dual leg holsters, and he usually has a pair of drumsticks (or two, or three) tucked away somewhere.
Personality: The laughing, carefree one of the three, Daichi is always finding something to grin about, even if normal people wouldn't see any reason to (within reason, of course). Daichi is the prankster, the jokester, and generally the comic relief of the group. His constantly upbeat, optimistic attitude has provided a great asset to their teamwork, encouraging his siblings when the situation seemed otherwise bleak and rather hopeless. When not on missions, Daichi can usually be seen strolling around beatboxing, or drumming on random objects. On the rare times he's away from his siblings he's usually randomly wandering the village, “listening to the rhythm of life” and getting inspiration for new beats.
Likes: Any kind of percussion (which includes finding and experimenting with new – and usual unconventional – percussion “instruments”), dango, pulling pranks
Dislikes: Silence, “haters”, anyone who messes with his siblings (men looking to hit on Hideko, beware!)
History: One might not think of Daichi as the firstborn at first glance, but in his times of seriousness he has, when needed, used his couple hours' worth of age difference to wave the “Big Brother” authority over his siblings to soothe arguments, solve problems on missions, and generally do other big brother-type tasks. He developed a love of rhythm and percussion at a very young age, prompting his parents to encourage him to become a drummer. Because of the Tensei Clan's traditional nature, his first lessons were in Taiko drumming, which he still practices passionately today. In fact, when he was considered old enough by the Clan elders, he was permitted to join the group of Taiko drummers that perform for Konoha's special events – an honor he takes so seriously, he's missed minor missions because of it. It was his idea initially to form a group with his siblings, and some of the group's best combos have been his invention. Meanwhile, his grades in the Academy were also the best of the three, nearing the top of his class – in fact, Eiji begged Daichi to do his homework on several occasions.
Presently Daichi is content to sit back and just enjoy life while his siblings take over leadership of the group, though there are still times when he steps up to fill his Big Brother role.
Name: Tensei Hideko (“Splendid Child”)
Gender: Female
Musical Specialty: Vocal Performance
Appearance: Hideko's hair is the longest of the three, falling past her shoulders to her upper back. She keeps the front trimmed so that it frames her face and tapers until it reaches its full length. Her eyes hold a quieter depth than those of the other three, which she usually accents with just a hint of eyeliner and mascara. Her elegant looks are something of a nightmare for her two brothers, who are constantly fending off the “friendly” men that seek her out. For clothing she wears a white tank top under a green hoodie jacket. Her pants are the same baggy khaki cargoes with a studded belt – though obviously cut for a female figure – and while her shoes are black like her brothers', she prefers to wear high-heeled strappy sandals. For accessories she likes large sunglasses – which she wears as a headband when they're not needed on her eyes – and, when not on missions, large hoop earrings.
Personality: If Daichi is “day”, Hideko is “night” - not that that's a bad thing. She's the calmest and most practical of the three, though she still loves a good performance, a good song, or just a good time with her brothers. Her “think-it-out” attitude has, at times, prevented her brothers from getting in too deep, or rescued them when they went ahead and got stuck anyways. Though she's hardly a wet blanket when it comes to being social or having fun, she's often been teased by Daichi for being a “party-pooper”, prompting her to tease him right back. Though the second-born, she often takes a “Big Sister”-type attitude when dealing with “The Boys”, as she calls them.
Likes: Music of any kind, hanging out with the guys, collecting accessories
Dislikes: Perverts, bullies, eggplant
History: The only female of the group, some would see it as only natural that Hideko showed motherly tendencies towards her two brothers almost as soon as she could talk. As children it was Hideko who wanted to treat scrapes, kiss “boo-boos”, and generally make things all better (incidentally, these bangs and scrapes were often enough result of her brothers fighting off bullies that enjoyed picking on little Hideko). Her grades were also high in the Academy – though not exactly Daichi's stellar performance – though she often fought with teachers about whether or not the three siblings should be allowed to take tests together, since they had always trained and learned as a unit rather than three individuals. At home, while Daichi was drumming, Hideko was singing. She would often perform simple melodies so Daichi could practice his drumming, or Daichi would tap out a beat so Hideko could practice following a rhythm. As she grew older, her voice developed into a rich, soulful mezzo-soprano that was the perfect sound for Eiji's compositions.
Presently, Hideko assumes her big-sister role from a distance, becoming less of a mother and more of a good buddy. She often issues practical, relevant advice in the form of little quips, quotations or other random tidbits, just when it's needed most. She also choreographs any dance moves the three might have in their routines.
Name: Tensei Eiji (“Excellent Second Son”)
Gender: Male
Musical Specialty: Composition, Vocal Performance, (the good kind of) Rap (informally)
Appearance: Falling just below his jawline, Eiji's hair is the shortest of the three, and is usually kept streaked with henna red coloring on the tips (to Hideko's great irritation). His eyes reflect a fiery spark of mischief and excitement, when you can see them through his hair. For clothing he wears the baggy khaki cargo pants and black, studded belt that match his siblings', black ninja sandals, and an open flak jacket – no shirt. Like his siblings, he wears his forehead protector around his neck.
Personality: Eiji is the mediating force between Daichi's carefree, laid-back nature and Hideko's calm, practical outlook. He likes getting into mischief as much as his siblings (though admittedly not quite as much as Daichi), but like Hideko he knows when enough is enough. While Daichi tends to be more laid back, Eiji's (rather contagious) energetic, outgoing manner makes him a natural people person – and a natrual leader. He does tend to be lazy, though, though not to the point where it interferes with missions.
Likes: Writing music, bugging his siblings, having fun
Dislikes: Anyone who bugs his siblings and isn't named Tensei Eiji, any other kind of bully, boring people
History: Eiji has always been the most outgoing of the group. When they were children he'd be the first to chase off bullies, the first to throw a paper airplane in class, and the last to quit talking in the middle of Sensei's lecture. While his grades were good, his laziness truly manifested itself in the Academy and he always scored lower than his siblings, often because of simple laziness (he would also bug Daichi to do his homework for him). Still, he would apply himself when it counted and he graduated close behind the other two. Musically, Eiji was trained as a vocalist but he soon began to show talent at writing his own music, so he was also taught music composition and had more intense music theory lessons than his siblings. He would often write simple songs with which the three would practice their individual skills, and his siblings would in turn offer critique and comments about the song itself.
Presently Eiji is the leader of the group, and writes most of the music they perform.
