Name: Tokoharu Tatsuya
Village: Leaf
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Rank: Chuunin
Blood Type: OI+
Chakra Affinity: Earth
Family:
-Father: Tokoharu Hikaru (38) - Jounin
-Mother: Tokoharu Yuka (36) - Civilian
-Siblings: None
-Other: Tokoharu Akina (Aunt, 26) - Jounin
Appearance: Tatsuya is a tall young man, standing at 6'1” with an athletic, firm-shouldered but still somewhat slender build. He shares his family's bright, coppery red hair and bright, emerald green eyes, which always seem to sparkle with some form of mischief or another. He tends to carry himself with a confident yet easygoing swagger, and always has a smile to spare for anyone who needs one.
Personality: Suave and charming, Tatsuya is a real ladies' man. That doesn't mean he's a player, though. He values respect and friendship, and will go out of his way to maintain a proper level of respect towards other people – even though he can be quite the jokester among his friends and family. He loves to smile and laugh, and making other people smile and laugh along with him. Like his aunt, however, he does have a bit of a temper (though his is better-controlled than hers), and he will stop at nothing to protect a comrade or loved one in danger.
Likes: Pretty girls, being with the people he loves, telling jokes, food
Dislikes: Rude/disrespectful behavior, needless violence, radishes
History: Like his teammates, Tatsuya's pre-war history was pretty “average” for a shinobi. When he was in the Academy, he would get into trouble for trying to charm all the girls in his class – and even a couple female students. He tended to be a bit of a slacker, always passing but generally just being too lazy to put forth full effort. He surprised all his teachers on the day of his graduation from the Academy when he gave 100% and passed with flying colors. Because of his history in the Academy, some of his peers tend to underestimate him, but that's not a wise idea – he shares his Aunt Akina's physical strength (if not her height, or lack thereof) and has always has a talent for Taijutsu over the other two arts. Indeed, he can hardly even use Genjutsu at all.
After graduation he was put onto a Genin team led by none other than his own Aunt, Tokoharu Akina, with his classmates Tensei Shinako – on whom he had had a crush since they first met in the Academy – and Akihara Izumi, who became one of Tatsuya's closest confidants after proving practically immune to his charming ways. They proved to be an effective team, using teamwork to combine their respective talents to their fullest potential. The three were promoted to Chuunin together at age 15 – Izumi at 14, since she is a year younger than the other two – during a wave of provisional promotions granted during the war.
During the final battle of the war, one of his best friends, Daisuke, was killed when their squadron broke through a Hidden Stone stronghold on Konoha's Eastern border. Ever since, Tatsuya has carried a picture of himself and Daisuke, smiling together after their promotion to Chuunin. Since the two could not continue to grow together as Shinobi, Tatsuya has vowed to become excellent enough for the both of him. At the memorial service for those killed in the war, Daisuke's family presented Tatsuya with Daisuke's forehead protector. It is now Tatsuya's most valued treasure, and serves as a reminder of Tatsuya's vow, and of the happy memories he has with his friend.
