XDXDXD K-chan has sparked my interest. Let's say, in this situation, you planned to go see Scary Movie 4. You arrived at the movie theater only to find that it wasn't screening that night. In fact, the movie theater is just straight out closed. You climb back into the car, only to realise that your car's broken down. While waiting for the repairman, your tummy rumbles. Heavily. You decide to spend the $10 note you planned on using to get into the theater on calming the beast within, so you make your way to the local foodcourt. If you had $10 to spend on food, what would you spend it on? XDXDXD Pick a favourite food, or just a flat out meal that you'd spend your money on! Restaurant, food joint... spend your money here. ((Sorien, in your case, you get $15, due to exchange rate, if you decide to pop up here XD))

What I would buy depends entirely on which theater I'm going to.
If I went to Largo Mall, might as well forget it, unless I wanted icecream, cause that's pretty much it. I suppose I could try one of two Asian places there, but I'd most likely go to Marble Slab.
At Seminole Mall, Sardo's Pizza. Hands down.
Tyrone Mall is kinda weird..... it depends whether I have cash with me or just a debit card. If I had a debit card only I'd go to Flamers Grill (I know, I know... don't say anything XD) to get super tasty burger with cheddar cheese fries. If I had cash I'd either go there or Sarku Japan for some Teriyaki Chicken.
At Parkside I'd go to either Chick-Fil-A or Panera, depending on what I felt like. Prolly Chick-Fil-A cause that's cheaper.
And I love the thread, Mazzy. Don't forget to say what you'd get!
EDIT: I forgot Baywalk! Even though I never go there. XD. Anyways, I'd only get food there if I were STARVING, because the people at Johnny Rocket's care more about dancing than serving their customers, and every other restaurant is expensive. Yeah. >_> So if I were there, I'd go get Cheez-its out of my car and buy a fountain soda from the theater (cause, you know, $10 MIGHT be able to get you a soda at a theater XD).

Well, if I was at the United Artists theater, I'd be in big trouble... I might be able to walk over to the Macaroni Grill, or Joe's Crab Shack. XD Not too appealing, though, I must say.
Umm. If I went to either of the mall theaters, I'd probably just grab a pretzel and something to drink. Maybe check out the non-Starbucks coffee joint at Grapevine.
I haven't been to the malls enough times to really know what all they have. XD

Most of the malls are really far from my house, in bad areas of town. If I was stuck out somewhere like that alone, I'd probably be scared to death. x__X Especially if it was at night.

Yeah. I would not go to any mall around here alone, because scary people hang out at them. Even if I'm in a group it's scary if there aren't any guys with us.

Hmm...Well, we only have ONE movie theatre, so...yeah.
There's only one place within walking distance. SUBWAY. WHOO. So Roasted Chicken breast, here I come! lol either that or run across the highway and grab some food from the gas station.
>,> Small towns are fun.

Yum, tasty subway.
lol I miss my small town. This place is t3h suxx0rz.
Back in Hutch if I went to the movie theater I'd be in trouble. XD I could get a pretzel or some chinese food or something in the food court, but that's IT. There's like no restaurants within walking distance. I'd probably end up blowing my money on like ... I dunno. Something in the thrift store. XDXD Or I'd go to Hobby Lobby and get more art supplies. ^_^

$15 eh? I'm rather boring really, I'd just go for typical fast food outlets on whatever I feel like at the time. So it'd be either Pizza Hutt, or McDonalds. That sorta food. And then I would get hyperactive on the McDonalds Sundae, and be excessively loud XD.

Well, Richmond Hill (where I live) has a puny little mall food court, which limits the choices to Mr. Sub, A&W, Manchew Wok, Ms. Vanelli's, and Bourbon St. Grill.
Let's see...10 bucks...(about...maybe 12.85 canadian, but for the sake of argument, 10 canadian dollars)
...first off, Bourbon St. Grill bourbon chicken and rice ($5.79 or so with tax)
with the remaining 4 dollars and change, I'd move on up to Second Cup for a small iced coffee (just over 3 bucks).
The remaining change would either be spent on gumballs or donated to the various store charity boxes.
Full tummy, caffiene from coffee, high self esteem from giving to charity...
...this calls for a round of random video games down at EB Games!
...or a blood donation at Canadian Blood Services! (you don't get money for your donation, but you do get as many oreos as you can eat afterwards, plus peach drink ^_^)
ahhh, the satisfying feeling of giving back to your fellow man and eating cookies.
It's a good thing ^^

Haha. Awesome. This actually got responses. lol
The ironic thing about this thread is that I ALMOST went to see Scary Movie 4 the other day. XDXD A friend and I were in Lower Hutt the other day, and she wanted to see Scary Movie 4. As it turned out, it wasn't screening... so we went to see X-Men: The Last Stand instead. XD
For me, it too would depend on where I go. In the case of Lower Hutt, they have a decent foodcourt not too far away from the movie theater. Perhaps I'd grab an Indian dish: lamb madras with rice, naan bread and a drink all for $9 I think. Or perhaps some Chinese. I've learned from past experience not to buy McDonalds with $10 in your pocket -- one time I went to a cinema and while waiting for the movie, decided to get Maccas.... NZ$4.60 for a Big Mac?!?! You're KIDDING right?! I then went upstairs and bought a friggin' jumbo sized cola for LESS than that XD.
Reading Cinemas in Wellington *pokes K-chan LOL* also has a foodcourt downstairs, which isn't too bad. Once again, I'd probably opt for the Indian or Chinese. There's a sushi place I might also try if I'm feeling particularly daring (I hate sushi, and don't knock meh, I went to Japan and ate it XD). There's another Japanese restaurant uptown, but I don't know how much it costs. If I was feeling particularly cheap, I'd head onto Domino's, which is about... a five or ten minute walk away.
I'm also going to take this opportunity to add Texarkana to the list. Depending on other circumstances (like whether I was catching the train home and who was driving) I'd so spend $10 at Texarkana. It is in Silverstream, which is miles away from the movie theater (lol).... but I'd spend my money there! GOURMET BURGERS FTW! YAR!
