Wohooo... hurrah for the Gamecube and its multitude of amazing RPG's. We have Baten Kaitos, just newly released, and not close to beaten. Amazing RPG with great graphics and an even better story. Then we have Tales of Symphonia, another sweet RPG with Anime style graphics and a good story. I hvaen't have a ton of time to play that between all these other games, school, and anime... but what I have played is REALLY awesome. And finally we have Skies of Arcadia. Originally for the Sega Dreamcast, this amazing RPG never got a good chance to shine on that poor, poooooor system. Luckily the great god of nintendo found it and re-released it for the Gamecube. It may not have the best graphics (dun think they changed the graphics from the original DC game) but the characters, gameplay, and story MORE than make up for it. So for all of my fellow RPG lovers here, and all my fellow gamecube lovers, I would highly reccomend ALL of the games listed above.

Tales of Symphonia was awesome, I hope to be able to actually sit down and play it seriously sometime in the future.
Skies of Arcadia is one of my favorite games of all time, next to the Legend of Dragoon. First off, what's better than a game that has pirates in it? Secondly, the plot is absolutely amazing. I was really truly thrilled when I first stumbled upon this game... I thought since I was a Nintendo owner I would never really be able to play any good RPGs. ^_^ Thank you Nintendo for proving me wrong.
Baten Kaitos! I've been waiting for this game! I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but what I've seen of it looks AWESOME! The graphics are beautiful (what I would expect for the console!) and what I've heard of the plotline sounds really cool. The battle system also sounds unique. I look forward to trying it out. ^_^
Here's to more great RPGs for Nintendo in the future! ;D

YAH!!! I was sooooo amazed when me and my cousin stumbled upon Skies for the Dreamcast waaay back when for only like... $15. It was such an amazing buy (right after X-Mas) and we played it fdor like... 3 days straight.
Baten Kaitos is really really cool. I thought I was gonna hate the battle system (being all card based and all) but it is a lot different than I thought it to be. Its really unique and inventive. Makes fights REALLY interesting. The story so far is really good, graphics, and characters. Only thing I can complain bout atm is the voice acting... Oh sweet goodness... the voice actors for the game are terribly drastically horribly bad. They make one want to rip ones ears off in rage.

The first time I rented Skies of Arcadia, I played it about 8 hours straight and forgot to eat....
Hmm.. I noticed the voice acting for Baten Kaitos wasn't the best when I was watching the preview. It's pretty sad, but... I guess if it's the only thing you have to complain about, it's not too bad. Does it have subtitles? Maybe you could just... err... mute the game.... XD

Heheheh... I know what you mean... Skies is just amazing like that!!
Yah, the voice acting is all I can really complain about... so most of the time I just mute the tv and read the dialogue. Other than that I dun think I have any complaints about the game myself.

The blue place is Yafutoma, and the red place is... umm.... Nasr! Maramba, woo. Yeah.
I think my favorite character would have to be... Enrique or Gilder... I really like Vyse, too. My favorite NPC was always Moegi's brother. I can't recall his name right now, lol. Hmmm. I think my favorite place is Yafutoma. I hated Horteka. Hate hate hate hate hated. Rarrr. All those bloody ladders.
Anywho. Yeah.
