I suck at Poker, but I don't mind playing every now and then....
There's a card game called Peon that I played once with a bunch of friends from school. It's great.

Sounds interesting. Care to share the rules and/or objective?

Let's see if I can remember....
You all start out by picking a card, and that determines your "level" in the world. There's a king, queen, 3 nobles, peasant one, peasant 2, and a peon (I'm pretty sure you can have more nobles or peasants if you have to?) . Anyway, at the beginning of the game, the peon gives the king his cards, I believe....
You have to play cards in numeric succession and whoever runs out of cards first wins.. or rather, gets to be the king for the next round. Whoever runs out of cards second is the queen, so on and so forth.
I'm pretty sure those are the proper rules, but I may have messed something up....

Dai Hin Min is a Chinese card game (I'm not sure how the name translates, but in English I've heard it referred to as "Rich Man, Poor Man") and was played in Fruits Basket. Everyone gets cards and there are two main positions: the Rich Man (sometimes the Very Rich Man) and the Poor Man (sometimes the Very Poor Man). Players sit clockwise according to rank, with the Rich Man at the head of the table. I believe the rich man starts, and everyone has to play cards of the same or better number (cards are, from highest to lowest: 2 A K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3, with Jokers as wild), and two to four cards can be played at the same time as well. There's also a Revolution, which is when someone plays four of the same number: then the Rich Man and Poor Man trade places, and the rankings of the cards are reversed. Revolutions can be countered by playing another Revolution. The person who gets rid of all their cards wins and is the Rich Man, and the one who has the most cards at the end of the game is the Poor Man.
At least, it was something like that.

Mostly the same. In fact. Exactly the same, except for the revolution idea. I'm not too sure if I like that idea.

Hmmm. Speed and Egyptian Rat-Slap are fun, though I kinda forget how to play the second one. I play Solitaire on the comp. Other than that, I just shuffle cards. Haha. Oh, yeah. I HATE CASH WITH THE UTMOST PASSION! The people at my high school didn't know how to STOP playing. (>_<)

I've not heard of speed, but I have heard of Egyptian Rat-Slap... although by other names. I think I mentioned it in an earlier post, but I know it as Egyptian Rat Killer, and someone else I know called it Egyptian Rat Screw....
Eh.
