As his two teammates drew themselves into their fighting stances, Yaku leaned in just slightly forward, but only just so, so that not even the branch creaked beneath his weight. He was silent as air. His body was slightly tense as his claws gripped the bark, digging in deeply, his attention alert, but it was more so from forcing himself not to jump in and spar himself, rather then simply watching them. His wary eyes watched both of them, trying to catch in every detail as to how exactly their jutsus worked. One could never be too careful.
He was so engulfed in the fight that was about to occure below, it was in fact Hiromi instead who noticed another strange scent had approached, instead of him. Her ears flicked back slightly, hoping to catch a trace of sound and she whined very quietly to her master.
"Shut up Hiromi." Yaku hissed at her, not once moving his eyes away from their set spot. "I don't want us to be seen yet, so try to be quiet."
Still a bit uneasy, the small dog shifted on her branch, but did as she was told and continued as well to watch the oncoming fight in silence.

Masato threw his body into a roll heading away from the fireball at him, and in the opposite direction from the one thrown to the side. Springing to his feet, he internally cursed distance ninjutsu users, the bane of his fighting style. Sheathing one of his swords, he took the other in a two hand grip, and using a small amount of chakra he increased his speed somewhat and charged forward, throwing a kunai with his left hand.

<OOC: Despite my like of this little sparring match, I think I'll reveal myself soon, and explain our fist mission. (check the planning board for details) I suggest that Sorien and Tennoken do their stuff quick, cuz I'm gonna bust a move soon.>
He continued to watch from a distance as the two genins went at it, the one sheathing his swords and throwing kunai. He wondered how it would end...
"...better make sure they don't hurt each other..." he chuckled. He gave the clipboard another once over.
"I hope Kaori-sama is right about these three...if not, well..."
He got up out of a crouch and stretched his arms and back.
"Hmmmmm..." he groaned, "I'm getting too old for this...better make it a big entrance..."

Sorien observed Masato move away from his intended other fireball. He smiled "As to be expected from a Hyuuga" he though.
Sorien looked up to see Masato charging with high pace toward him, kunai in hand. Sorien smiled as he looked up to see this. He clenched his fists. The two fireballs that were some distance from he and Masato suddenly exploded outward, sending ripples of fire toward them both.
(OoC: I've just read your post Kiel, and yeah. We're going to wrap this up soon and don't worry, we won't kill each other ^_^ Its just a training session)

Yaku cursed inwardly as he watched, feeling uncomfortable at how close the heat was coming to them. Jumping swiftly, he quickly grabbed Hiromi, hugging her close to his chest, before landing on a different tree a bit farther off, but still having a nice view of the fight. Hiromi was wriggling consistently now. She KNEW someone else was there, but as Yaku was ignoring her, in a sense, he was ignoring who she was smelling as well.
OOC: Sorry, forget what I just said, I have a slow computer...^^'''

Masato tucked into a roll, protecting his exposed flesh the best he could from the heat of the fire. Thinking to himself how much he hated heat, and how much he hoped for his first out of village mission to be to a cold area, he completed the somersault, slightly winded. "Well, I guess there's no helping it." He rushed forward again, throwing a smoke bomb next to Sorien, and tried to use one of his favorite techniques. "Hyuuga kenjutsu: Arashi no hitotachi!" He whirled around, using the force of his turn to try and make a cut at Sorien.

The warm air brushed past Sorien "Ahh...gotta love it." he said. Hoping he didn't hurt Masato too much with that blast (as he was his team-mate and they were only sparring) he returned his mind to the current situation. Masato had ducked, rolled and was proceeding ever closer to him. "I'm good at Taijutsu...but against a sword. Its so futile".
Suddenly, amongst his ponderings, Masato flicked out a smoke bomb, which instantaneously filled the air. He then heard an odd whirlling sound coming from the smoke. "Oh. Don't tell me...I'm sure glad he's got covers on them swords" Sorien thought to himself anticipating what was coming for him. He quickly summoned more chakra, and brought his right hand behind his back, and then violently threw it out in front of him in a similar fashion to a discus being launched, creating a wave of fire in one direction, he quickly repeated this with the left hand. "Isoge Sorien!" he told himself.
Soriens plan was revealed that instant. The smoke had dissipated. "Yo. Masato, a little lesson on fire. A cold fire, will produce smoke, however, when a fire gets hot enough, it burns its OWN smoke" He trailled on.
Wasting no more time, as the sword attack was almost upon him, he drew more chakra, and placed it into his legs, he leapt up high in the sky, and caught an overhead view of Masatos whirlwind below. "I hope this works..." He thought. His arms outstretched to the side, and charged up two indiviual fireballs. He placed them together, to create one central ball. A jet of flame shot out of this. The target: The funnel of wind. As the flame reached the funnel, it curled around inside, making its way to the creator.

Masato looked up as he heard a whoosh of flame, and his opponent was no longer in front of him. Swearing to himself, he dropped his sword to the ground, and spread his hands to both sides of his body in the remembered, yet hated, stance. "Hakkeshou kaiten!" Spinning madly and expelling chakra from his body, he performed the only technique that would prevent him from looking like a boiled plum for weeks. The flame spread around him, and out to the sides, but a wave of intense heat still reached him. When the flame had passed, he released the Kaiten, stumbling a couple feet forward before sagging to his knees. "Ugh, that technique always takes it out of me." He grinned widely at Sorien, glee in his eyes. "Great move, man! Only a couple people have ever been able to counter that!" He slowly got to his feet, picking up his sword and sheathing it.

<OOC: Righto, seeing is how most of you saw it, It's been changed to create a surprise ^^>
He looked at the two, who seemed to have finally called it quits.
The blinding light of fire and chakra had started to fade from the air.
"Hmmm...now I see what Kaori-sama was saying...they're no ordinary genins..." he said quietly.
Looking down, he noticed the yaps and yelps of a small dog next to the hidden genin. He smiled, knowing a fair amount about the Inuzuka clan's choice of familiars.
Looks like you noticed me pooch, he thought, but your master doesn't seem to notice...good thing I didn't wear the aftershave...he would have had me dead to rights...
He looked up at the sun, noting its position. He nodded.
"I suppose I've lingered here too long...might as well get started."
With a flick of the wrist, he sent three objects shooting downward towards the genins, each one landing squarely in front of them. Their delicate and small shape embedded in the ground as if they were as heavy and strong as kunai.
Messanger origami.
He leaped silently out of his hiding spot to find a new, more convienient one. He waited for the genins to read their notes.

The small, folded piece of paper caught Yaku by surprise and he tensed slightly as he sat back suddenly. However, as he studied the odd object before him he raised a curious eyebrow, and Hiromi, stepping forward, began to sniff it curiously as well. Yaku glanced around once, as though hoping to find a clue as to the source of where this thing had so suddenly come from, but his attention was soon drawn back to the intriguing folded paper once more.
Finally though, he seemed to make up his mind, almost as saying to hell with being cautious and without another thought, reached forward and took the messenger origami, opening it and letting his sharp eyes scan over the words, Hiromi gazing as well.

Masato looked down as he heard a thud in the ground ahead of him. Looking down, he was surprised to see a piece of folded paper. "Uh... ok?" Leaning over to pick up the note, he stumbled a bit, but managed to stand up straight quickly enough. Looking at the paper through the byakugan, he determined that it probably wasn't poisoned, somehow wasn't trapped, and didn't have a dangerous chakra signature to to, so he opened it and began to read.

"Great move, man! Only a couple people have ever been able to counter that!". Sorien grinned as broadly as Masato had. He landed, and stopped for a few seconds to catch his breath.
"Yeah, that was great. Good fight man. Put 'er there. We're gonna make a good team with skills like that methinks" Sorien said. "You fight very well. I'd like to train with you in future...say...did I burn you at all...cos I've got some cream in my bag if you did...I don't want to hurt a teamate and..." THUD!
"Ahh...Nani?" said Sorien. He shook his head and examed it. "Uh... ok?" . "Yo, Masato...are these cool to look at?" He asked with caution.

"Yo, Masato...are these cool to look at?" "Yeah, I think so. I don't see anything wrong with them." Masato looked around suspiciously with the Byakugan, not expecting to see anyone, but trying anyway. Pulling one of his swords from his belt, he wrapped a cloth around the bottom and used it as a crutch to stand more easily while reading.

Completely engulfed in reading his note now, Yaku had completely forgotten the other two genins standing below him now as he shifted slightly on his treet branch for a more comfortable spot. However, now he was more on the alert for whoever it was he had missed sneaking up on them while he had been busy watching them spar. Hiromi yipped something at him and Yaku frowned, "So you were right for once, big deal..." he muttered, and the small dog went back to be cautious, hoping to pinpoint the exact spot of that strange smell.

Sorien bent down, picked up and read the contents of his letter, following Masatos ok comment. He heard an abnormal tree branch cracking sound, and spun around to have a look. He noticed Masato was doing the same.
