"You can do it, Ayaka-san..." Utsuro attempted to reassure her with a faint smile. "It is just paperwork...it is not as if they are asking you to wrestle a bear to be admitted.." Medical history....Nothing of note. Rare hospitalizations for exhaustion.Jotting down every answer he possibly could without directly needing to speak with someone regarding it, the papers were carefully placed back into the envelope and set upon his cot. Collecting what he needed for the bathhouse, he started for the door. "I shall be back shortly, good luck!" Waiting just long enough for his friend to respond, Utsuro shuffled out the entrance to the tent and was off down the street. Left turn here....3 blocks straight...Arching a fine eyebrow briefly at the Hokage's apparent amusement, however minute, Ryuurei continued unfettered to respond to her question. "So it appeared, yes. One Ameno Ayaka, another refugee also housed in Tent 7, it would seem they have bonded quite quickly in their time staying there. According to the information I'd subversively procured from those associated with the incident, Ameno-chan had not returned to the tent the night before. Kyousei-kun, who apparently also knows her, strangely enough, stopped Tsutomegi-kun as he was leaping from rooftop to rooftop in search of her, and joined the search once informed of who was being sought." Pausing for a breath more than for the Hokage's listening ease, he removed his glasses and began polishing the lenses. Shaking his head softly with a bemused smile, he continued. "The whole ordeal was rather...surreal to witness, but again, yes. Once Ameno-chan brought his focus to the present rather than his concern for her, his composure and technique instantly left him, almost as if he hadn't the faintest idea he was capable of doing what he was doing." "Also of note, I had spoken with Ameno-chan the day prior, and she claimed her friend, Tsutomegi-kun I assume, had exhibited a wild swing of personality and behavior and damaged a small span of fence during the time. Needless to say, when I came here today and heard that you would be meeting with this boy, I felt it pertinent to pass this information on to you."

"The last thing we need is any more bears," Ayaka agreed solemnly, already beginning to lose herself in her paperwork. She was, however, paying enough attention to respond with a half-distracted "Thanks, Tsutomegi. Later," and as soon as he was gone, she immersed herself completely in the papers. "You made the right choice, Hisuatsu-san," Kaori sighed, setting down the pen and eying the page in front of her to make sure she'd gotten everything. With this kind of story coming to her attention every couple days or so, she was beginning to wonder just what kind of bizarre incidents hadn't she heard about yet. "You aren't the only one, either. Tsutomegi-kun and this alternate personality of his have wasted no time in making a name for themselves, intentionally or no." Part of her wondered if she dared risk letting Tsutomegi into the Academy for that very reason, but far stronger was her concern over what would happen if he wasn't allowed to learn the control he obviously needed. And if he was telling the truth about his ancestry... "This is, however, the first I've heard of this friend of his," she continued. "You said he was looking for her because she hadn't come home the night before. And that he rescued her... from a tree. That isn't exactly the kind of trouble most civilian refugees get into."

"The boy suffers from a personality disorder? I am not sure what's worse, the ailment, or that it does not surprise me.." Sighing, he replaced the glasses on his face and gently slid them to their proper position on his nose. "And yes, Ameno Ayaka. As I said, I'd spoken with her at a bit of length the day before. After we had parted ways, I can only assume she wandered out to the tree and climbed it for whatever reason, and presumably fell asleep. The girl was rather disoriented after her 'rescue', but that could have been from the event itself for all I know." "She is...a troubled girl." He continued after a brief moment to collect his thoughts further, as it had not been his intention to speak in depth on her. "The war came to her village, and when a few of our shinobi came to help and offered to take people back with them, she was the only one who accepted. She left not because of the war, but to escape her 'family'. I could not get much information out of her verbally, but it seems they were some form of abusive to her, and she seems to have developed a peculiar coping mechanism involving her hair. She seems to 'hide' behind it, and is very defensive of it, almost as if it is her sole identifying characteristic." "That aside, according to Kyousei-kun...more specifically his partner...the girl seems to possess a rather strong Water affinity, and surprisingly deft reflexes. When she and Tsutomegi were falling from the tree, she caught herself as if it were nothing, and that was WITH Tsutomegi curled around her like some kind of human shield in preparation for impact. If we can steer her towards the Academy, it may not only benefit her, but help keep Tsutomegi in control as well, it seems."

"Indeed," Kaori agreed thoughtfully, adding a notation - Ameno Ayaka - to the bottom of the account of the tree incident and underlining it a couple times. That paper was then promptly slid aside and a new one pulled in front of her, this one quickly becoming a host to the details on the Ameno girl. It seemed the war had brought all number of interesting refugees to them, and ones that had some potential use, at that. "Unfortunately, if she really has been abused, she might not be likely to want to step too far out of her comfort zone. If the girl shows enough promise, the academy might be the best place for her, but she'll need encouragement. And an order from the Hokage to enroll might not be the best way to go about that, hmm?"

"Precisely. Though I had no intention of suggesting we directly tell her to do such a thing. She seems highly susceptible to being given 'suggestions' and being allowed to make up her own mind from there. Case in point, when I first met her, she was hunting for a job so she could make enough income to live in the village. I steered her towards the best plausible venue given what I knew of her, and while nothing occurred on the spot, I fully expect to see her employed there shortly." "This is doubly beneficial for her, because knowing the proprietors as I do, they should do wonders to help her recover from whatever her so-called family put her through."

"Let's hope so," Kaori agreed. "I would advise you to keep an eye on her should you two meet again; she may have some underlying issues from her treatment that would require more dedicated attention." This so-called 'susceptibility to suggestion' would have to be watched, though; whether Hisuatsu-san had intended it that way or not, it sounded like a potential liability that was best avoided. "As for Tsutomegi-kun, well, I'll be able to see for myself very shortly what needs to be done with him, if anything. Thank you for your information, Hisuatsu-san; it has been very helpful. I trust I can count on you to bring to me anything else regarding these two that you think I should know, yes?"

"Of course, Hokage. I had intended to keep an eye on Ameno-chan after first meeting with her, but I will extend the observation to Tsutomegi-kun as well. If something of merit comes up, however small, you will be the first to know." Ryuurei replied with a smile.

"That is much appreciated," Kaori replied with a nod. Perhaps it was odd that so many people were watching one person, but if her suspicions were correct, there was too big a risk to go taking unnecessary chances. "By the way," she asked with a hint of a grin. "How's your team?"

His smile shifted into a hint of a proud grin. "They're doing quite spectacularly. I was a bit concerned at first, but after a few training sessions, we've become quite the well-oiled machine. I believe we'll be putting a dent in the accumulated mission listing shortly."

Kaori smiled broadly. "I'm glad to hear that, Hisuatsu-san," she said quite sincerely, "I really am. In mark of your success, I believe I will act upon your recommendation." Long, slender fingers whisked open a rather large desk drawer and danced across the tops of folders until she found one with suitable D-rank missions. Almost in a heartbeat one was selected, removed from its folder, and placed on the desk in front of her. "Yes," she said to herself, "this one will do nicely." "Hisuatsu-san," she instructed, sliding the paper forward across the surface of the desk, "gather your team. You've just been assigned your first mission."

Accepting the paper with a grin, Ryuurei nodded. "Thank you, Hokage. Ironically enough, that was my initial intention of speaking with you today." "Seems we nailed two birds with one stone, then. I shall indeed go gather my team, and leave you to your business. Thank you for your time, Hokage-sama." Rising from his chair, he bowed smoothly, and waited to be dismissed.

So that comment had been on purpose. Well, hopefully he would enjoy the little 'surprise' that that particular mission contained. And maybe next time he would ask directly instead of trying to play her into giving him what he wanted. "Thank you again for your assistance, Hisuatsu-san," she said pleasantly. "You are dismissed. Enjoy your mission."

Nodding and bowing politely, he turned and exited the office. Enjoy your mission, she says. No doubt it contains some modicum of punishment for not directly asking her for one, something I might deem unsavory. I was trying not to trouble the woman, but was it so wrong to plant a suggestion she could take up on? She WAS the one who'd brought up my team to begin with.. Sighing and adjusting his glasses, he began to skim the mission outline as he made his way out of the Administration Building. After a quick change and...a not-quite-quick encouragement to a paperwork-laden Ayaka-san, Utsuro had successfully made his way to the Administration Building. It had been a good day thus far. He had not gotten lost, there had been no soap-induced property damage at the bath house, and he actually appeared some form of presentable. I can do this...I can do this. Clutching the envelope of paperwork tightly, he shuffled purposefully towards the doors and onward to the front desk. Go get 'em, kid."Excuse me....My name is Tsutomegi Utsuro...Hokage-dono wanted to speak with me?" " Well aren't you a polite little thing. Tsutomegi-kun, was it?" The receptionist smiled, looking over a few papers. " The Hokage finished with a meeting just a little while ago. She should be free right now, but I would ask anyone up there just to be on the safe side. Good luck!" "Thank you." Bowing, he followed the instructions given to him afterwards and found himself gradually slowing down. S'no time for cold feet, kid! But...I am nervous...You've got your chance, now go take it! You've been dealing with this woman since you got here, even BEFORE she was the Hokage! And she was a doctor then...Ok, valid point, but let's face it. If she wanted you on an operating table, you'd have been there by now. Suck it up and move it, or I'll handle things!...Turn left here. Straight down the hallway, the door at the end.

"Someone's coming," Shirayuki said suddenly. The trio had re-entered after Hisuatsu-san had been dismissed, and the four of them had been discussing research that needed to be done in the Tensei archives, when Shirayuki had spoken up. Being blind, she had been forced to learn other ways to know her surroundings, and thus her sensory capabilities were sharper than anyone Kaori had ever seen. Kaori nodded to Akina, who got up and slipped out of the room, and the four went back to their discussion. "Ah, Tsutomegi-kun, here already," Akina remarked with a faint smile as soon as she noticed who was approaching. "Hokage-sama is expecting you. Please, come in." And with that she turned back to the door, gave a quick knock to let the office's occupants that someone other than she was about to enter, and opened the door.

"Th-thank you..Tokoharu-sama." Utsuro began. It had taken him a moment to remember her name. In a strange twist, he could associate very strange details with a person's name and voice, such as stance, or shoes, or anything of the like, yet facial recognition was difficult for him. He was going to apologize if he had been too early, but the latter part of her greeting assured him this was not the case. Entering the office as...normally..as possible, he was a bit surprised to see three other....VERY well-dressed individuals in the room. There was something oddly familiar about the fashion of... Kami-sama...They're all TENSEI. Ok. Much as I hate to say this...stay cool, kid. We'll be alright...I doubt she wants a repeat of last time..they'll stay out of your head..I hope.."Th...thank you for seeing m-me..Hokage-dono." Utsuro tried to state as evenly as possible, bowing as steeply as he could without bashing his head into the floor.
