Yukio was sleeping soundly when his dad decided to wake him up.
"Hey, you're going to be late for you mission if you don't get moving."
"I know, I know" Yukio replied, rolling, and falling, out of bed to wake himself up. "It's a good thing I packed yesterday night"
"Yeah, just hurry up"
As Yukio rushed down the stairs he called to his parents, "bye mom! bye dad!"
Yukios mother yelled her reply "Hey, you got another message, this one said to bring formal wear"
Stopping in his tracks Yukio dragged himself up the stairs, he could be heard mumbling about his hatred of ties.
Once Yukio finally made it outside he ran off to meet the Hokage.

Morning...still darkness...
That is the nature of the Takahashi household. Darkness, not so much that you can't see, but dimly lit so the bats can live in more comfort all day long.
Mokoto sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes.
"Why does this...meeting thing....have to be so early. I just finished my night training 3 hours ago."
He drowsily went through his morning routine to get ready. Finally, dressed and cleaned up, he saunters down the steps to see his family already at the table eating. His mother smiled and set his morning breakfast on the table...eggs, bacon, and the usual food filled with Vitamin A, this morning’s menu included carrots.
(OoC: The Takahashi clan eats many foods filled with Vitamin A which is great for eyesight. They have some food with Vitamin A in every meal. Carrots, Broccoli, Eggplant skins, and spinach to name a few)
"Good Morning, Mokoto" His mother said.
"Hey, Kiddo" His father said as he rubbed Mokoto's head, messing his hair up.
A squeak of “Hello!” was given from a bigger and battle scarred bat sitting on the father’s right side.
“Hey there, Kobo” Mokoto replied as he patted the bat on the head. Kobo returned to eating his plate full of fruits.
"Morning" Mokoto replied sitting down to his plate.
"Don’t forget today is the day of your meeting" Mom chimed.
"I didn’t forget." That task would have been hard since his Mom mentioned it at least 5 times a day since the letter’s arrival.
After finishing his meal, Mokoto headed toward the door. He grabbed the bandana that was given to him from the Academy after officially becoming a Genin. He put it on, with a smile on his face...
"Finally," The Konoha band reflected any light that was in the room. Obviously, the Konoha symbol was polished many times before its first time being worn. Mokoto was proud to be a ninja for his village. He loved Konoha and its villagers. "Ichi! Let’s go already" The call was directed toward the corner of the house where many bats were playing tag with each other. A smaller, younger bat flew from the pack and landed on Mokoto’s head.
“Hey there, buddy!” he said as he tickled his bat friend. The sun was already in the midst of rising. The day look like it was going to be a good day. Ichi squeaked. “I have no idea what this meeting is about either.” More squeaks. Mokoto got annoyed. “I’m sure the Hokage will think you’re cute.”……. “No, I don’t think she has any female bats for you”… The banter between the two continued until they reached the Ninja Administration Building. Mokoto walked down to the basement and opened the door to the supposed meeting place. It seemed a lot of people were summoned. He recognized many of the characters standing before him from school and from around the village. Before he could say hello or do anything else, the Hokage started talking describing their S-Rank mission. Mokoto’s ears perked as he heard the part about an afternoon off. Ichi squeaked. “Yeah, an afternoon free does sound nice.” As everyone started to head towards the door, Mokoto followed. He headed home to pack before the trip and get it out of the way. When he returned home, the house was empty except for the usual elder bats that were asleep on the ceiling.
“Rats, looks like Mom and Dad already left for the day.” Mokoto headed upstairs to start packing his backpack. A knock at the door was heard. Mokoto heard one of the elder bats answer the door. The sound of the door shutting came next, and the same bat came into Mokoto’s room. The bat dropped another letter on Mokoto’s head. “Thanks, Elby,” he murmured ripping the letter open. The letter requested Formal wear to be brought on the trip.
“WHAT?! I hate Formal Wear! GAH!” He interjected to himself. “I’ll pack what I have but I won’t wear these infernal things…” Ichi giggled. Ichi then noticed Mokoto packed a little bat tie into his bag. The giggling stopped.
“So, what do you want to do on our day off?” His stomach gurgled. Ichi replied in squeaks. Mokoto continued…“Ramen does sound good. Let’s go!”
Mokoto walked out of the house and headed toward the Ramen place…

On her way to the Hokage's house Kirei's stomach reminded her that she didn't eat breakfast. *Sigh* I suppose I could stop for a quick bowl of ramen before I go to see Hokage. As she reached Ichiban Ramen she noticed another young man was already sitting there, "Yay I can have some company for breakfast..for once."
She walked over and sat down, placed her order, then said, "Hi there! My name's Kirei, what's yo---oh dear god! Don't move! There's a bat on your shoulder!!" she screamed.
The boy stared at her, squeeked to the bat as if he was speaking to it, then continued to stare.
"Here's your order Kirei-chan"
"Oh! Domo arigatou! I'm starving!", she turned back to the shinobi next to her, "So as I was saying...what's your name?"
