OoC: ^^;; Taro is actually Nada's dad... although he doesn't act like it most of the time... XD
"Pardon my intrusion into your home," Keitaro said rather formally as he removed his sandals. Taro merely waved his hand to dismiss the comment. "How is Nadameru?" he asked.
Sighing, Taro gave a slightly helpless shrug. "Not too good, I assume. She came in and barely said a word to me." He ushered the boy into their living room. "Go ahead and have a seat, if you'd like. I'll tell her you're here," he said, assuming his normal laid back manner again as he headed out of the room and down the hall.
Nada looked up as there was a knock at her door. She could hear her father's muffled voice from the other side.
"Na-chan, Keitaro is here to see you. I left him in the living room."
Great. She stole a quick look at herself in a nearby mirror. Well, on the upside, she couldn't possibly look worse. Wiping her eyes with a sleeve, she got up.
"Okay, 'tousan. Thanks."
Snatching up a nearby hairband, she pulled her hair back into a single ponytail. That didn't do a thing to conceal her puffy eyes, but at least the wild mass was momentarily contained. It was Kei-kun... he wouldn't care too much what she looked like... hopefully.
Slipping out of her room and walking quietly down the hall, she made her way to the living room. Sure enough, there was Keitaro, just where her father had left him. Seeing him seemed to lift some of the weight that had been settling over her.
"Hi, Kei-kun," she managed to say, smiling slightly. "Sorry if you've been waiting a while...."
